Did anyone notice the teams ranked 4 to 11 were all 21-6? This should be separation week heading into the end of the season. My fingers are crossed for Wed in the UT game. I hope we see more experimentation from CBP.

It would have help us/SEC if we had pulled of the win against BAYLOR. There were other opportunities for the top SEC teams to make a good reference mark against other ranked non-conference teams but failed to do so. I'm feeling upbeat going into the UT game having watched us play UGA. I would have never guessed we would have put up 97 on the road.

It has struck me in our losses we start off slow offensively in terms of scoring. We then spend the rest of the game trying to dig out of the hole. I believe CBP knew we needed to win in UGA to stay within 1 game of the SEC regular season championship so the UGA was a must win. Our starting lineup had length and hustle so there was still an opportunity of a good D outing. And as another poster observed, we had 5 guys on the floor as potential shooting/scoring options vs. 4. CM gives us great D hustle - thats why he starts a lot - but very little in point production. I am looking forward to see how we play without JW in these next few games. If we can steal the UT game, we control our destiny to at least tie for the regular season crown. Even if we should loose, it gives BP a great chance to try some things so we can head into the SEC/NCAA tournament with good momentum.

I hope so, we need UA to drop a couple of games. They have some weaknesses but if you can score in the 90's every game, you have a chance (unless if course you are giving up 117 pts).

They made 22 FTs - that means they scored only 39 offensive points. THats what amazed me. We were able to limit the number of points from the field to 39 points for a highly ranked team.

Perhaps seeing UT's Ziegler will help him see himself in the future. Fingers crossed for him in his future on this team.

They're starters play a lot of minutes every game; maybe 2 or 3 players help from the bench but only 1 bench player seems to score well. I could see foul issues could be an issue for them when they rely on their starters so much. Also, in the March run you have to be prepared to play a lot of games with only so many days off between matches. If they stay a #1 seed, I to hope we are in their bracket too.

Impressive. We are in a tough league this year ladies and gentlemen. Let's hope our boys continue to learn and grow and we will have a very competitive team come March. SC should be getting some poll love next week.

Ga lost, but still scored 96 pts; it's hard to believe you can lose a game scoring 96 in regulation. So that might be UK's Achillies heel - lack of a great D.

D was missing on their side, UT looked good on both sides of the ball. UT and UK will be out toughest outing in the conference for sure.

Anyone watching the UK game? I know its Ga but they are knocking down the 3 like they are nothing; they are 11 of 18 with 12:55 to go UK up 78 to 55

I like the thoughts posted so far. I note we are scoring a little over 10 more points a game than last year. I know each game is different, but if we had 10 more points per game last year, we might have won [a lot] more games. Perhaps a better way to say this is we might have had fewer loses; the best-case scenario might have been only 2 loses. I think if the chemistry continues to improve, assists stay high, FT % improves; we might finish 27-4 heading into the SEC tourney.

I'm watching the A&M game with LSU since we play them next at home. A&M has gotten us the last few times and had their way playing us. I really want to beat this team. What surprises me is that A&M is playing at home and only has 3 players making up the bench - 3! If they are that low on players, we will want to play up tempo to wear them down. At the half, the bench pitched in 3 pts.

He will be bringing his A game, so we should expect nothing less. He is playing a lot of minutes so his production is closer to the 20-21 season at Auburn. Lets see what team D ole Miss brings to the game.
