What is happening at UGA?

Yeah, I’m not expecting much this year. I really enjoy good volleyball and would love for AU to play good volleyball.

Man, I knew the new coach had his work cut out but only winning 1 set in the first 5 matches is something else.

lol top 30 won’t do squat for an SEC school. Gus needs to get top 5 to compete again.

I say wait until the end of the season to decide if there needs to be a competition. I know Bo has been struggling this year behind that paper thin OL, but he is improving along with the OL (for the most part, still some very bad plays especially in pass blocking). If he looks lost the rest of the year, yeah maybe give DD a first string shot and see what happens but it’s very unlikely that he can beat out a 2 year starter. Can’t waste too much time on a competition when your career is on the line.

Except things like this snowball. I’d be shocked if there’s a game prior to Jan 1.

Got smoked twice by UF but that's to be expected. Tough start but need to put that behind them and compete where they can as Brent is going to need time to build the cupboard.

That's great and all, but Scoot hasn't set a commitment date. Like them putting confidence in guys like Kool-aid and Scoob before they have a commitment date (who aren't going to AU now after their 95% confidence predictions, which get changed at times), it's all just a guess.

How so? It was a backwards pass but no one clearly possessed the ball after it. Yes, they all stopped when the whistle blew, but no one really recovered it. It’s likely why they said the play “stands”. That said, what an embarrassing win for Gus and co. The coaches were dominated by Arky. They are all on borrowed, pandemic time.

I’m not going to be sad if AU doesn’t hang on to a single coach. Caddy maybe, but the rest are taking the year off and it’s not a good look.

Body language between the two teams is just totally different. There’s no leadership at AU.

Good half for special teams, Tank, and one Bo Nix decision. Terrible half by people who make a LOT of money off AU.

Yep, need him back. I like Tank but I like what Worm brings more.
