What is Bruce's message at the 14:50 mark in the presser when he recognizes Auburn fans willingness to travel and says he want the SEC commissioner to recognize Auburn as one of the better basketball programs in the league. May be reading too much into this but got the feeling Bruce didn't think Auburn basketball got the respect it should in the SEC office by Commissioner or his assistant? Anyone read it differently or know the back story?

Mickey Zofko and Terry Henley from 1970. 1970 Auburn Alabama game was the first game I remember. It was on the radio. Still have a picture with Terry Henley in the Auburn dressing room after the 1972 Georgia Game. I was 9 years old. Players were beating on their wooden lockers yelling "Go to Hell Alabama Go to Hell". Great times.

David Beverly was ahead of his time as a punter. Not sure any other Auburn punter had the NFL career David Beverly did. He has been nominated several times for Alabama Sports Hall of Fame. He still has team records while playing at Green Bay in the 1970s. He had amazing hang time and accuracy (inside the 10 and to one side of the field) for his day.
