The DB's argument was that he was going for the ball and Kodi interfered with him, and with the shoe on the other foot I'm not sure I wouldn't have felt the same way. The facemask on Dyer was the one that had me fired up. He got up screaming for the call, but there was not even a hint of a flag...and I don't remember the announcers picking it up, either. I mean, the ref might have been blocked by the mass of bodies around him, but Dyer DEFINITELY got his facemask grabbed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Shift 350 Posted November 14, 2010 Share Posted November 14, 2010 I totally agree but two points: 1) Holding can be called on almost every play if you have 11 officials on the field. 2) I saw one play where Ziemba almost pulled the UGA's DE jersey off he was holding so bad. But i see 5-6 plays a game that Fairly or Claytons jerseys are yanked sideways and arent called....And the MOsesley hold was no where CLOSE to as blatant as these were.
