I was looking at stats and noticed that Dyer only has 7 receiving yards on the year. Are his hands that bad or is he just not given the opportunity? i have seen Lattimore and Richardson get lots of yards by getting them in open space with short passes and would love to see Dyer utilized this way if he has the hands.

it's because of OMac. he has been playing really well catching the ball this year. if it isn't broke, don't fix it, i suppose?

It's just not part of the offense. The vast majority of McCallebs catches are basically long handoffs used to get him on the edge when he is in motion. He doesn't have more than 4 catches out of the TB position. As far as Dyer's hands are concerned he can catch a screen pass or be effective catching a dump off but he isn't fluid enough to be a downfield threat imo.
