bigsixfive 328
The BCS standings come out later today, but honestly, don't we all want to see Oklahoma play Southern Cal? NO! YOU do, most everyone else DOESN'T. Then he goes on to slap us in the face, I mean say: Miami and Auburn may be the best teams in their respective conferences (ACC and SEC), but the Sooners and Trojans are a cut above. A cut above by nearly losing to: 1)Cal, a PAC 10 team who has only thumped the bottom of the barrel, no one respectful 2)VT average team this year, would have been a respectable loss, 3) Stanford. Stanford... STANFORD!!! 4)KState, who is just not good this year And: 4)a tough game against UT, which a middle pack SEC team should have beaten 5)letting BOWLING GREEN put up 25 on your 'awesome' defense 6)leaving starters in the whole game so the people that vote (and obviously do not watch football and know little about it) see high scores against podunk teams and 6a)monster stats by multiple players. GRRR!!! link
MDM4AU 335
I would like to chat with this guy. How ludicrous could he be to say USC and OU "are a cut above?" WarEagle_57 0
I understand where he is coming from. (wants to see #1 plays #2.....) Unlike last year I suppose. But to think that OU and USC are definately the #1 and 2 teams
bigsixfive 328
And imagine where AU would stand among them if we left our starters in the entire game. I wonder if you emailed that guy that list of stats if he would respond....
eibua12 81
Never in the history of the BCS have the teams in the first poll ranked #1 and #2 actually played in the MNC game. This might be the first year as UM and USC both should cruise for the rest of the year and both do not I repeat do not play a Conf CG. SOS is still part of this albeit a small part but all of the computer rankings use it. In the end it will be interesting. Also since we are using history MNC 1998 SEC 1999 ACC 2000 Big 12 2001 Big East 2002 Big 10 2003 SEC so what does that mean? If history repeats it self either FSU of Miami will play and win the MNC . I don't buy it
bigsixfive 328
Thats: never in the history of the BCS have the teams in the first poll ranked #1 OR #2 actually played in the MNC game. But let's hope your previous statement holds true this year...
