The main building is the same. There have been additions and upgrades as TT said. It does look different but, yep, the original building is still there somewhere.

My cousin has recently started dealing with the Bham VA. He has been dealing with nemerous doctors and offices over the past several years, but finally filed his VA paperwork a month or so ago. He says the VA down there has the best doctors and staff he has dealt with. He will eventually need a liver transplant, and they will be setting it all up. The transplant will be done at Vandy with the VA overseeing it. They have taken over all but a couple aspects of his medical care, and he has been pleasantly surprised with the care.

You know....you often hear horror stories about modern VA care, but not in his case.

34, with my current trials and tribulations, I have talked to several cancer patients, who are veterans, and they all are very high on the VA-Vandy marriage. First, they are located as if in the same campus, so I think your cousin is on the right track. Latest, price for liver transplant; 1 million.

My goodness a pops and a drac visit all in the same day..............how is everybody?

Pops, she'll be glad to help, but don't let it cut into her shopping time. That lady tears Florence up, lol.

Maybe she can find time between hair appointments.

Definitely doesn't seem to be friendly to the cause....

Everyone around here is doing better....for the most part. It is important to always keep in mind, though, that crazy rarely differentiates between family and stranger.

Well,well,well.....................Mr. Updyke has his bond revoked today and was taken from court in cuffs and placed in jail. The judge said," His arrest in a Louisiana store violated his bond status and the state of Louisiana had an arrest warrant issued for him".

Exactly where the ignorant fool belonged the whole time, JAIL. :hellyeah:

The VA saved my Dad's life in more ways then one. You will never hear me say anything bad about them. Plus they were great to work with while I was going to Auburn. They covered my books, tuition, room and board,

He has no complaints. He has met with them twice in just over two months. The first was with a general prac. The second was with a specialist. It would have taken him longer than that to see a specialist otherwise.
