I just got word last night that the doctors had found a very large mass on the lung of my sister's 21 year old niece, Meagan. After more checking and tests they also found fluid around the heart. They have a specialist coming in this morning to see what their next step will be but they feel she will have to be sent from Decatur to somewhere else, probably Vanderbilt. Please say a prayer for her and her family as this situation does not look good at this time. I will keep you guys posted as I hear more.

Just a quick update....really haven't heard anything definite. Megan has been through two biopsies and quite a few other tests and such. Keep on praying, it's been a long week and a half for the family, I'm sure.

They finally got a diagnosis. It is Hodgkin's disease. They will be putting in a shunt and beginning Chemo.
