around4ever 4,139
We played our worst game against Miss State, no question. But they played well and deserved to win. Now I hope they lose. agreed Auburn played their C- game Miss State played their B+ game. We could beat them, but it would still be close My bias detector just exploded reading your post. A team that turns it over 4 times, almost 6, is hardly playing their B+ game. Auburn could beat them at Jordan Hare but I doubt they could beat them on the road or at a neutral site. Auburn hasn't played well on the road all year and they don't have the ability to run through teams like they did last year. We will never know but I think the early turnovers took us out of that game. Without those TOs I think we win in Starkville.

Okay fine I'll give them B- And how is saying "it would still be a close game" biased? Miss state still had a good game forcing turnovers and holding strong in the Red Zone. Miss State didn't just lay an egg versus us. Sure they had turnovers, that's why I didn't give them an A.... smh

I'm sure you're giving Auburn a C- because of their early turnovers. How does that make any sense? Auburn was stonewalled in the redzone but, that everything to do with Miss. State's defense because Auburn couldn't run the ball and Marshall couldn't throw an accurate pass. Heck, Duke had to make a phenomenal catch (only a few receivers in FBS could catch) on 4th down to keep Auburn in the game. They only had one legit touchdown. Outside of the turnovers, they've played the same way all season. This time, they ran up against a team that matches up very well against Auburn. looney 794
So.... MSU and Kentucky... I'm just tuning into the game after a long day doing family stuff. Saw Dak was looking a little gimpy there. Did that just happen or has it been ongoing? Really would like to see UK pull out some miracle stuff here at the end a la LSU 2007(?). Even with the BS PI called on Sammie. Miss State couldn't run the ball either, because we stuffed it. Dak had two Touchdowns on us sure, but he didn't run wild by any means. What does Duke being an above average receiver have anything to do with Auburn being bad? If we didn't fumble that kick off in the 4th quarter and losing all our momentum we're in that game, EVEN WITH that disastrous first quarter. Now I'm not saying Auburn is perfect or Auburn should have blown them out, but we are still an awesome team that fought back from a terrible start and lost a fumble on a kick off late to seal it. It was just not Auburn's day, Was Miss state perfect? No but Auburn made horrible mistakes they couldn't recover from, doesn't mean we're completely terrible, we just had a bad game
