Auburn becomes the 15th undefeated SEC team to play in the Sugar Bowl. 1940: UT - L 1946: UGA - W 1951: UT - L 1952: GT - W 1956: UT - L 1958: LSU - W 1961: Ala - W 1962: Ole - W 1966: Ala - W 1973: Ala -L 1979: Ala - W 1980: UGA - W 1982: UGA - L 1992: Ala - W 2004: Aub - ???
