do not evade the profanity filter. Don’t wish injury on anyone but next time if you’re gonna get that called, make it “worth it”

That is BS!!!   The SS was directly in front of the base.  If he slides straight into the bag he still takes him out.

Exactly. He got down like he was suppose to and even curved his legs slightly so he wouldn’t go spikes first into his legs.

Sorry mod, saw it used in some form earlier, couldn’t remember the acceptable form of it 😂

Well, they have motivation now if they needed more of it. Gotta buck up. Umps just continue to be an embarrassment in college sports and common sense continues to disappear from the people tasked with officiating the games, both on the field and off.

Absolutely worst review call yet. That is a joke. Second basemen plainly in the base path. Slide to the left side of the bag. Runner obviously trying to avoid. And a flop. That is ridiculous. Someone needs to be fired over that. They are just cooking it for a game three. What a frickin joke.

Well, the lesson is, you go directly into the bag even if it risks injury for the opposing player. We should've gone straight into his ankle with his entire body. That was in the direct basepath, and the rule requires it. One guy gets hurt, and they'll change the rule. But as it is written and enforced, it was a mistake to try and avoid McGee.

too bad about the DP ...and then EJ made it really easy for the pitcher by going down without a struggle.....

Eaton slid directly to the base and was already in his slide when the fielder stepped into his sliding path.  That was NOT even close to interference.   He's supposed to slide directly to the base and that's exactly what he did.    They blew that call BAD...

Here we go. Do we battle back or go quietly and waste another golden opportunity to get past a super?
