Flying migrants from Texas. DeSantis uses Florida funds to fly migrants as a stunt.

There is an immigration problem.  The first step to fixing the problem is immigration reform.  Instead of real solutions, DeSantis chooses to play political games and does so with Florida money.

Might not be popular for some but I hope it forces Congress and the President to finally address this long overdue issue.

When a puppy embarrasses himself and his mistress by leaving a “surprise present” on the clean carpet just as guests arrive, the last thing the pup needs is for everyone to surround him and comment on his bad manners.

All the poor pup wants to do is slink away and forget, which in his case takes about, oh, 5 seconds.

But with the mid-term elections approaching, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott shipped illegal immigrants to Obamaland (Martha’s Vineyard), Chicago, New York and other deep-blue cities and blue states where Democrats prize themselves on ignoring federal immigration laws.

The two Republican governors fed President Joe Biden and the Democrats what amounts to a hideous tasting sandwich of what the puppy left behind, with extra helpings of hypocrisy sauce. This forced legacy corporate media to finally cover a subject Biden wants to avoid–his failure to maintain a secure Southern border.

What’s wrong, ICHY? You don’t want a solution?

Millions of illegal immigrants crossing into border states leave local governments overwhelmed, not to mention the deadly fentanyl they bring with them. More than 100,000 young Americans died from this deadly drug last year. Show me one post where itchy or any other democrat shows anger or even the slightest bit of outrage.

We need immigration reform, but this administrations take on said reform isn't the answer. And don't get me started on the hypocrisy of our whiny forum members.

What a piece of s*** article and horrendous way to discuss humans.  These are people legally in this country.

Oh, and the people in Martha's Vineyard and other states flooded to help these people who have now been stranded 1500 miles from where their court cases.

This is human trafficking plan and simple.  They are lured onto a bus or plane with false promises and then left in an unfamiliar area.  Its inhumane.  Not shocking, it's exactly what racists in the 60s did when segregationists shipped black residents north with false promises.  "Reverse Freedom Riders".  Birds of a feather...

Thank you.  Sadly, we have several here who are proud of their lack of basic human decency.  Even worse, they call themselves,,, Christians.

Playing partisan politics with the lives of human beings is an atrocity.

Imagine what would happen if we took that 12,000 per person and spend it on ppl legally in this country, got them housing, food, and jobs.  Helped them get started.

Nah, we've got to light 12 million on fire to try and "own the libs"....who shockingly aren't vile POS like these people and help the people who have been dumped in their town

There isn't an "immigration problem", there is a complete lack of enforcing existing state and federal laws by the current administration! The southern border is wide open with very little enforcement but there is a strong enforcement of Cuban illegal immigrants (they generally are conservative). I don't seem to remember you having any issues with Biden secretly flying illegal immigrants all over the country at night? DeSantis is doing EXACTLY what the Florida public wants and Florida is thriving under his leadership.

The Republican leadership is why immigration reform can't get passed.  It seems that they enjoy having the issue to exploit.  Our borders aren't open, but they claim they are.  The fact is that we have laws and a constitution that dictate the process by which immigrants can gain admission to the country.  They are entitled to a hearing.  You can't just shoot them at the border.

It is not wide open.  PERIOD.  That is nothing but a talking point.  If it is wide open today, then it was wide open 3 years ago as well.  I believe we do need strict immigration laws and that our system needs to be reformed.  I also believe that someone brought to this country as a child that has only known this country as their home, should be granted a path to citizenship.

You do realize that Texas gets a massive amount of federal funding to help deal with immigrants right?  Under the current laws, we have no choice but to process each person and give them a hearing to determine their eligibility to remain.

WOW, you have 100% swallowed the leftist propaganda cool aid---PERIOD! We are on track to exceed an invasion of over 2 million illegal immigrants along the Southern border this year with a substantial increase of an additional 200k each month since Biden "signed three executive orders" rolling back previous administrations laws.

The DREAMERS are generally the wedge on which Republicans tank any potential reform.

Interestingly, as a Cuban American, with members of his own family having been granted refugee status due to Castro's socialist regime, you'd thing he'd sympathize a little more with Venezuelan's fleeing Maduro's socialist regime.

Marco would probably give a blank stare if you asked him what laws were broken.

Did they enter illegally?  Are they suing the federal government?  I thought they were suing DeSantis.

No matter.  It was clearly a stunt by DeSantis to get his name repeated in right wing media.  It could be quite entertaining watching Trump and DeSantis wrestle in the mud during the 2024 primaries.

Democrats have the con. If removing the 60 vote majority was good enough for the things they want to pass why not this?!? They’ve had supermajorities before. Nothing. Own it with the pubs!

Yes. It's like it is a build on a complete to enrage morons.

They were legal asylum seekers. They did not break any law in this country.

Yes.  You would think that people could see through a tweet, could see through the obvious lies.

Sadly, common ignorance is more common and, more ignorant.  That is the natural evolution when you train people to think with their emotional minds rather than their logical minds.

Making people irrationally angry makes them stupid.

Do you actually believe that these people are not entitled to a hearing under current immigration laws?

Seems like an efficient plan, send them to areas with more resources to support🤣

It's their new Roe v. Wade.

They have no intention of recreating that problem by doing away with the issue legislatively.
