Golden Eagle 362 Posted February 5, 2023 Share Posted February 5, 2023 (edited) Wow - has AU Equestrian's era of dominance come to an end or are they just having a 'down' year? I think I read last spring (2022) that they were losing several key team members to graduation. I attended a meet in Auburn several years ago (against Texas A&M if I recall correctly) which Auburn won handily. Reviewing AU's roster that day, I was surprised at the number of riders who came from the northeast, Virginia area, Texas (!) and even California. Maybe other schools are ramping up support for the sport and competing effectively for recruits? AU's equestrian facilities are first rate as is the coach - I hope they can reclaim the top spot.
