MrMoJo 0 Posted August 19, 2005 Share Posted August 19, 2005 Me and Miz Deb are heading out to Belize tommorrow in celebration of my 50th birthday next Tuesday. We will take a 45 minute water taxi ride to a small island of 1000 people called Caye Caulker. There are no vehicles on the island, only golf carts or bikes for transportation. It is absolutely the most laid-back place I've ever been to and I've been to alot. Instead of Bubba Gump Shrimp, it's Bubba Gump lobster everything. They supply most of the lobsters used at the Red Lobster chain. About 1/2 mile off the beach is part of the 2nd largest reef in the world, only the Great Barrier Reef is larger. I promise to file a full report upon return (if we do return...LOL). A friend of mine gave me an assortment of Cialis for my birthday trip. DKW 86 7,441 Posted August 20, 2005 Share Posted August 20, 2005 I went to Belize on Misssion Trip. I only got to see the interior. It was great and the people were fantastic. They are so pure and friendly. They have not been totally corrupted by Hollywood. On another point tho. Dont the islands have a cannabis? problem? Seems everybody on my plane, that went diving the islands looked like they had been stoned for weeks. I heard they have a huge rasta population on the islands too.
