What Republicans have truly become

They allow someone like Vivek Ramaswamy push fairy tales about Michelle Obama running for President and the Jewish president of Ukraine being a Nazi.  Bat s*** crazy has no boundaries.

Compare and contrast to the crazies who desire their young children's genitalia mutilated. Or the crazies that support these atrocious actions.

Compare and contrast to those crazies that desire pornography, pro-pedophilia, queer, and gender studies in K-3 curricula and libraries.

Bat s*** crazy has no boundaries? IDK, I can certainly draw a line between the two vastly different examples. One rude and crude, the other well, bat s*** crazy.

Good Lord.... I have never heard a candidate for office suggesting that BS.  I also don't know of a school district that promotes what you suggest in elementary schools or their libraries.

If you really want to break it down, the problem is not in debating issues.  The problem is the propensity for some to knowingly lie to their base in order to generate rage and get attention.  They are like drug runners, except their drug is false information and their consumers are addicted to it.

Tells me you aren't looking. Examples have been posted many times on this forum, not to mention countless examples in the news media.

Can't argue that. Happens daily. Example:

A spokeswoman for Mr. Ramaswamy, Tricia McLaughlin, said that he had not called Mr. Zelensky a Nazi. Instead, Ms. McLaughlin said, he was referring to an event in September in which Mr. Zelensky visited Canada’s Parliament and joined a standing ovation honoring a 98-year-old Ukrainian Canadian war veteran. The problem, it turned out, was that the veteran, Yaroslav Hunka, had served in a division that was under Nazi control during World War II.

The ovation was widely condemned by Jewish groups, which called it “beyond outrageous.” Ms. McLaughlin said that Mr. Ramaswamy was referring to Mr. Zelensky’s joining in the applause and waving to Mr. Hunka.

He is in the *it aint happening* stage.  He will then move to *it aint happening, but its probably good if it does* phase before he states its a good thing that it is happening.  Similar to what the leftist said about the border.  Its their go to strategy.

Can’t do a thread without posts having bad people coming to take everyone’s penises.  Damn I thought gore was bad with his singular fixation on global warming.

I understand it’s an issue. Just like large magazine  rifles are the weapon of choice in almost every school mass shooting. Which real world issue do you think every parent worries about today a lot more vs what maga will only talk endlessly about?

If I was still raising kids in the public school system I would worry more about the indoctrination of my child for 6 hours a day than the off chance of a school shooter.  Of course, one could home school, but that doesn’t address the problem that is the public school system.

Do you really believe elementary school teachers are “indoctrinating” our kids. I’m in Atlanta with 2 boys in college who went to school here. A liberal metro Mecca. And both are now more conservative than I am. I promise - the problem with today’s teachers isn’t some evil plan (though I’m sure there’s a few nut jobs somewhere) - the real problem is half of them have the iq’s of chipmunks. My 2 cents - worry less about the next generation wanting their genitals changed and more whether they can speak in complete sentences.

Btw does the “gop” have any kind of vision or plan for actually improving education? Or does it even make the list besides gay mania?

See Ron DeSantis in Florida.  He had addressed a lot of issues from Parental Rights (don’t say gay bill) to getting rid of DEI.

ETA:  I was hoping he would be the man for the Republicans this time, but it seems we are hung up on a would be comedian.
