Mikey 16,615 Posted March 2 Share Posted March 2 That Knecht guy simply took over the game. Being older than most of you, I remember seeing the great John Mengelt do that for Auburn. Maybe we were playing an overall better team, but Mengelt would pour in 42, 48, 54 points and Auburn wins. I have also seen Barkley suddenly get mad or whatever motivated him, take over a game and carry AU on his back to victory. Barkley's style of play was different from the style of Mengelt and Knecht but the result was the same.
