Arkansas game time...

Rivals has it listed as a 6 pm ESPN2 game.

Rivals is wrong...as for now. Arkansas sets the time for their home games even when they have no media outlet - http://www.hogwired.com/SportSelect.dbml?D...419&SPSID=30723 .

So it could be at 6:00, but as for right now it shouldn't be announced.

CBS had its choice of UA/MS or AU/AR that night.

Obviously since MS is much more likely to beat Bammer than Arkie is to beat us, they chose the close game to televise. :roflol::cheer:

Here's what the TV schedule has been showing:

Oct. 15 Sat. Kent State @ Navy 1:30 p.m. CSTV

Oct. 15 Sat. Southern California @ Notre Dame 2:30 p.m. NBC

Oct. 15 Sat. Alabama/Ole Miss or AU/Arkansas Noon CBS

Oct. 15 Sat. Florida @ LSU 3:30 p.m. CBS

Oct. 15 Sat. Memphis @ Houston 5:00 p.m. CSTV

Oct. 15 Sat. UAB @ Marshall 5:00 p.m. i (PAX)

Since the game is now 6 P. M. and not scheduled to be televised (as stated on our official website), then no, it appears that CBS won't be televising it.

According to the Auburn website, it is 6:00 PM with no TV.

We won't know for sure until tuesday of next week.

won't know what? Everything has been set, no national tv. There should be PPV, but there was no mention of it in the article.

We could still do PPV, but Arkansas is refusing to do so.

It decreases their attendance at the stadium and they are even balking at letting us do it in Alabama only.

All this according to ITAT, so take it with a grain of salt.

I don't understand. What's the point of playing at night if it's not on TV? Seems I remember TT saying he always prefered day games.

Home team sets the time. Believe it or not, Auburn is finally playing an away game this year.

I think we will end up seeing ESPN2 pick it up. I don't know why espn.com shows the game as a CBS televised game??? . I think the game time reflects them wanting to try to get it in on ESPN2. IMO. Of course, arky may just not want to get trounced on national TV again. :big:

Let's face the music folks. Auburn is not a hot commodity right now. No one is interested, outside of our fans. This is not an attractive game. Neither is UAT/MSU, but that game does feature a top-ten team.
