moe 0
Rivals has it listed as a 6 pm ESPN2 game. 185821 Rivals is wrong...as for now. Arkansas sets the time for their home games even when they have no media outlet - http://www.hogwired.com/SportSelect.dbml?D...419&SPSID=30723 . So it could be at 6:00, but as for right now it shouldn't be announced.

LegalEagle 22
CBS had its choice of UA/MS or AU/AR that night. Obviously since MS is much more likely to beat Bammer than Arkie is to beat us, they chose the close game to televise.

moe 0
We won't know for sure until tuesday of next week. 186087 won't know what? Everything has been set, no national tv. There should be PPV, but there was no mention of it in the article.
WarEagle_57 0
I thought you could only have one PPV game per year. And we already wasted that on Ball St.
Guest Tigrinum Major
We could still do PPV, but Arkansas is refusing to do so. It decreases their attendance at the stadium and they are even balking at letting us do it in Alabama only. All this according to ITAT, so take it with a grain of salt. zeebish 0
I don't understand. What's the point of playing at night if it's not on TV? Seems I remember TT saying he always prefered day games.
TitanTiger 20,572
You know, it's not our fault they suck and can't get their own fans to show up for a game.

tgr4lfe 220
I think we will end up seeing ESPN2 pick it up. I don't know why espn.com shows the game as a CBS televised game??? . I think the game time reflects them wanting to try to get it in on ESPN2. IMO. Of course, arky may just not want to get trounced on national TV again. Aubie7 0
Let's face the music folks. Auburn is not a hot commodity right now. No one is interested, outside of our fans. This is not an attractive game. Neither is UAT/MSU, but that game does feature a top-ten team.
WarEagle_57 0
Arky refuses to allow PPV because they said it decreases attendance at the game.
