Guest Tigrinum Major
The Bald One Opines The past three times the Tide has ended a season with exactly 10 wins, the next season has resulted in a losing record. In fact, the past five times Alabama has come in right on the 10-win number, the Tide has lost at least five games the next season. You might want to keep that in mind if you're doing an early winter office pool on next fall's football season.
WarTiger 3,909
major, is this what the bammers refer to as "TRADITION"???
Ryan Sanders 123
Ok.. but compare the amount of times they have had 10 win seasons to ours... :-/

Well with all their losses on defense and a new QB and the same O line, they certainly have the potential!
PChamp119 96
You guys love to bash Bama don't you... Bama is not going to have a losing record next year. They will have a winning record and be just fine. They lose 3 games at most next season with Auburn, LSU, and Florida. New qb, yes, but so did Auburn this past year. That defense will keep them in line.
Texan4Auburn 1,626
They lose a ton on defense, pretty much the entire secondary and linebacking core. I don't think they will have a losing season either. LB:Roach, Ryans, Secondary: Madison, Harper, Peperah Line: Griffin, Anderson. Not sure about the line players but I know the LB's and Secondary players were starters.
Ryan Sanders 123
And to top it off.. their defense will still probably be better than ours. Don't bash me.. just facts.

BamaGrad03 0
Bama will surely take a hit next year. Yes we have better talent than in the past to fill the gaps, but its still young. And you guys know from what you lost this past year...its good to be able to plug some holes with guys who have been there before. I think we will have an 8-4 type year. Our schedule isnt too bad. But AU and LSU will have a talent edge on us still. But in 2000 when we were following up a 10 win season we lost Shaun Alexander, Cornelius griffin, Chris Samuels, and Dubose was coaching...ugh

tgr4lfe 220
I wouldn't be suprised to see bama flip flop on their strengths next year. Good O and not so good D. The D is going to be very inexperienced. IF the OL can step it up, their O might be better, of course it won't take a lot to be better than this year. They have skill players returning, in Darby and WRs, with a decent showing by the OL to help out Dolly Parton Tarkanian Wilson, the O could be fairly good. I agree with BG of probably 8-4, maybe 7-5 if a let down against one of the Miss. schools. OOC schedule is very easy, there's 4 + Vandy...deciding factors will be how good Ole Miss and Arky are going to be.
