Guest Tigrinum Major
LSU's Running Back Logjam How will we ever overcome this stable of talent on the bayou? Let the LSU running back controversy begin. Incumbents Justin Vincent and Alley Broussard are rehabbing serious knee ligament injuries that should severely hinder their spring participation. Redshirt freshmen Antonio Robinson and R.J. Jackson were unable to crack a unit that went from loaded to thin in a hurry when Broussard and Addai went down. Incomers Charles Scott, Richard Murphy and highly recruited Keiland Williams racked up impressive résumés in high school.-- New Orleans Times-Picayune Oh, yeah, Less Smiles is still the coach. Feel free to opine.
mcgufcm 4,106
if alley broussard is healthy, there is no controversy, and kenny has company at the top of the sec running back heap. if not, jv is soft and the rest are unproven (and potentially insanely talented). alley is an all-american talent. quietfan 233
LSU may be deep at running back, but haven't you heard: Alabama has the greatest collection of running back talent ever assembled...even better than, ohhh, say a school that can send two running backs to the first round of the NFL draft...or at least that's what I've read on some Bama boards. [You know, the same boards that say Shula is a great coach!]
Eagle Eye 7
Shula is a great couch imo.. . He has let good overcome evil 3 out 3 times.

Fluffed 0
11-2 only cause of loadss of talent.. not the coaching.. Saban would've gone 12-1 with that team.. only he'd have less lucky/close games.. luck or no luck though, 11-2 is very impressive... let's just see if he can keep it up. the talent is definitely still there. AuNuma1 1
Justin Vincent is no threat. Broussard would be the best one IF he comes back from that injury 100%. We saw Addia carry the load this past year and he wasn't dominating or anything. What's the big deal? It's not like they've got Ronnie Brown and Carnell Williams in their backfield... SouthLink02 8
Vincent needs to stop eating and start working out if he wants to have any PT next year
