LegalEagle 22
Economy is great. Rich got tax cuts. BUT because of protecting the spotted owl up to 300,000+ acres of National Park land needs to be SOLD to support rural schools says President Bush. Read it and weep: http://www1.wsvn.com/news/articles/national/BO14166/ Only the poor folks need public land anyway. We can hunt, hike, fish, etc. at the ranch. Bottomfeeder 244
We have no gold to back our currency, so they give away (sell??? Not!) our land. It's fascism in it's purest form.

Bush has to propose any new idea jsut to get some demoncrats to maybe bring up new arguments.

The only opinions here that matter are those of the citizens that live in the immediate vicinity of said land, not some tree hugger living in a condo and driving around in their hybrid, and I'm willing to bet said citizens are all for it. So don't worry, Old Faithful isn't going the way of the Do-Do. Some 85,000 acres of earmarked land is in California. Seriously, who gives a CRAP about California? It shouldn't even be a state. The sooner that place is a barren wasteland the better...hell, mother nature will probably accomplish that feat before we ever do. If it's that important to you, go buy yourself some of it. You're a lawyer, I'm sure you can afford it.
