Since 1965, here are the runningbacks from the SEC who finished in the top ten in rushing in the country...

Based on yards per game, average per carry and TD ratio, I sorted them from top to bottom.

The 1992 UGA offense is one of the best in the history of the SEC. I wrote an article for ITAT covering the best quarterback and running back combinations in the history of the SEC and Zeier & Hearst were rated as the #2 combo.

Eric Zeir was a very underrated QB in the pros and never given a chance. Every pre-season he would be at the top of the league in QB ratings and then never be given a chance to play in a game.

Wishbone,

I always thought the same about EZ. I always thought had he played for the 49ers in the west coast offense, he would have been very productive in the NFL.

Ugh, the funny thing is that the '92 UGA O didn't score a LOT, LOT of points (373 or something) yet they put up a lot of yards

They did finish at #10 in the country in terms of scoring offense with 32 pts per game. They were 9th in total offense in 1992.
