FLASHBACK: Baby Killers

Mike Whitney

What goes through George Bush’s mind when he sees the dead bodies of Iraqi women and children loaded on the back of a pickup truck like garbage? Is there ever a flicker of remorse; a split-second when he fully grasps the magnitude of the horror he has created? March 15 was another defining moment in America’s downward moral-spiral in Iraq. Eleven members of an Iraqi family were killed in a wanton act of slaughter executed by American occupiers. Photos taken at the scene show the lifeless bodies of young children, barely old enough to walk, lying motionless in the back of a flatbed truck while their fathers moan inconsolably at their side. What parent can look at these photographs and not be consumed with rage?...

Caution: graphic pictures of dead children with bullet holes, guts hanging out and crushed skulls.

I can picture BF and TT running around with big stupid grins on their face with this in the news....maybe even threw a party to celebrate. You know, it is funny how liberals will hollar "innocent until proven guilty!" for rapists, pedophiles and murderers, yet when our troops are accused, the liberals who claim to support them are the first to call for them in front of a firing squad.

BF, when are you going to grow the stones to go to the Atlanta airport and hock loogies on the troops as they return home. I'm sure if you ask, Tex will join you there.

In the military it's guilty until proven innocent. UCMJ?

loogies on the troops as they return home.

I'm a veteran, remember?, as they are. It's not their fault the president is liar and commanded them to commit atrocities in the name of American taxpayers. The war on "terra?" More like the war for oil and dollar hegemony. And of course, "he tried to kill my daddy." It must be a real gut wrencher for you active military to realize the truth behind the lies. I'm glad I found out before reupping.

Actually, TIS, even though I am deeply embarrassed that guys like you and Liger represent my country in any capacity and even though I'm confident our country would be best served by your immediate discharge, I would never even do that to you.

You do realize of course that if you were able to discharge people like TIS and myself then you'd have to discharge 99.9% of the entire military? It's a dress right dress organization my liberal friend. Then you'd be forced to fill the ranks with liberal thinking minds such as yourself which we all know would never happen because liberals detest military service. Give your comments a second thought.

I grew up on military bases and am thankful to know that most people in the military aren't like you. Most may tend toward the conservative side, but that is not my issue with guys like you and TIS.

As far as liberals detesting service:

Back on that first hand, one of the seemingly sane voices in this administration when it comes to Iraq (or at least he used to be). On the other hand, a clear hypocrite ("I am angry that so many of the sons of the powerful and well-placed... managed to wangle slots in Reserve and National Guard units...")

Since the troops have been cleared of any wrongdoing in Ishaqi, any chance we'll hear an apology from Murtha or Kerry?

Our DOD clearing them does not remove the guilt of those soldiers. I believe they are guilty. That's just one case, there are many, many more.

Iraq War Vets talk about random civilian killings

Newsnight follow a group of former US soldiers who have returned from Iraq deeply affected by the experience. As they march across America to protest, shocking interviews emerge on the indiscriminate killing of Iraqi civilians.

Veterans reveal they had been trained to see Iraqis as animals, shoot up the landscape and kill anything that moved. Shovels and guns were carried by patrols in order to give the false impression that innocent killed civilians were actually up to no good - supposedly killed whilst digging holes for IED's.

Were you there? How do you know what went on in Ishaqi, or in Haditha for that matter? You don't know.

You believe they are guilty.....so what. I believe you are insane. It doesn't make it so in either case.

I remember a story about us blowing up a "wedding party" a year or so back. Whatever became of that? If the press (and the left for that matter) waited for facts tp surface before making a judgement based on "gut feeling", maybe folks would be more inclined to listen to you.

We've been accused of targeting civilians, targeting members of the press, children, you name it since the onset of the war. I remember the word "assassination" used to describe us knocking off the Hussein boys back in 2003. These accusations shamefully come from some our own elected representatives, our own media, along with the foreign enemies of our nation. It seems we're fighting against terrorism and against the anti-American left.

Part of winning this war involves keeping your faith and your belief in our country intact. Thanks to jackasses like Murtha, Kerry, and you; every effort is being made to destroy that as well.

I'm sorry we don't see eye to eye on the issue of war. Maybe after you finish grad school you'll think differently.

I doubt I will change my view of the situation, because I know the American soldier and I know the difference in good and evil.

I also know (and will never forget) how the American soldier has been unfairly portrayed in the media and by a great number of democrat politicans.
