Awbun 0
Big 40 here, dont post often[hate to type],but read a lot.Username Awbun, cause thats the way coach Jordan used to pronounce it.My ties to Auburn run deep, although I am not A graduate. My father attended in the fifties, sister in the sixties, brother has two degrees, brother in law, allhis family, and my sister's two children are all graduates.I grew up in Opelika, and used to attend all the games and most practices with my Dad in the sixties and early seventies.Coach Jordan would visit with us at practice and discuss football as wellas other things. He was one of the greatest men that I ever knew, and still one of the only heroes that I ever had.I live in Athens GA. now, have been here almost 20 years, but I miss Auburn every day.I enjoy this forum,it allows me some contact with Auburn, and Auburn people nearly every day.................WAR EAGLE.............Jack

OlderWhiskey 953
I am 57 and getting up there close to Proud Tiger. Grew up in Alexander City, I see there are several on this board from that area. Springhill Rd. is very familiar to me, I had two aunts in that area. Live in Winfield now. RVTiger 0
How about this for an Auburn pedigree? My mom (Class of 1948) and my dad (Class of 50) met at Auburn. I graduated from Auburn in 1977 and 1980. I have four sisters (1971, 1973, 1979, and 1980) that graduated from AU. I have a brother who started at Auburn and graduated from AUM in 1984. Now for the good part... I have four children currently enrolled at Auburn. My oldest duaghter attended Auburn for two years but did not graduate. ...and I still have a son in high school (no doubt where he's going to college) No, we are not catholic (ha ha). aumoore 0
AU class of 1983 I will be 43 in Feb. One of my boys is going to be 20 in Jan. He posts on here sometimes as AU Seminole. He is going to FSU because Auburn charges triple tuition for out of state students and he would loose his bright future scholarship

It gives all of us an idea of the life experience, that comes with age, of the person we are conferring with. so in this context, it is a very enlightening thread.
