With 26 currently committed and UaT still recruiting, how many non qualifiers will be in this signing class?

PS - Speaking of non qualifiers in the last class, how many did Bammer have?

Uh, we had 3 last year. Far fewer than Auburn.

And this highly ranked class isn't in the same league as some of our others...where we had to take a bunch of non-quals because we were on probation or losing games and couldn't really compete with some of the top schools in recruiting. Don't try to water down this class by comparing it to those where we had to take whomever we could get. It's not even the same game.

Let me ask you, if yall don't have another Wonderful year like yall did this past year, are ya gonna blame it on Probation, again? There's a difference between absolutely knowing 100% who will making on campus...and knowing WHILE you are recruiting someone that they are a project...and probably won't make it to campus.

In the past, we had classes that were comprised of a lot of those type guys. As far as I am aware, this class doesn't have nearly as many "projects"

We are going after more top 100 guys and more guys who aren't projects because of academics. If you don't think that is a fact, then you don't understand the nature of recruiting. In the past, our circumstances dictated that we go after guys who may have been 4 star guys, but it was well known that there was a good chance that they wouldn't graduate. When you are on probation and going 4-9, that's the only way you can get some of the good athletes, take gambles.

And if you don't think we are going after (and landing) a different caliber player than over the past 5 years or so, just go back and look at the guys who actually qualified and made it on campus. Alabama has ONE 5 star player on it's roster right now.
