Effects of Muschamp's departure

W/ these 2 most recent commits... plus Freddie Smooth... plus the probability of Lipscomb committing... plus a good shot at Harris...

...I don't see _any_ dropoff in defensive recruiting since Muschamp left. Anybody else have any thoughts on that? Obviously CTT is doing his thing again, but how much do y'all think Rhoads has to do w/ these commits?

Results aren't truly in yet, but I'm optimistic at this point.

It doesn't seem to matter who our DC is, Tubs and Co. seem to be able to adjust and get some outstanding Defensive players. Perhaps it's because his background is "D" and our reputation for sending Defensive players to the pros. Close out big Tubs!

Tubby is they key. So long as he is there, I sure as hell wouldn't worry about D recruits.

CWM made good initial impressions on young recruits that saw him on TV (all the sideline jumping around, etc). However, the substance of all coaches, systems, schools, etc comes to the surface during recruiting and the personalities aren't such a selling point in the long run (exception being the personality w/ Mama, like dadgummit Bobby...not necessarily CWM's strong suit).

In other words, the recruits that left us when CWM left us had probably had not scratched the surface to see if WE really had what they wanted in 4-5 years of playing college ball.
