LOL...what a debacle. The Democratic Party is just tearing itself apart. It's just amazing how the Democrats are blowing this opportunity to win the presidency.

Only half a vote each? Why not just count each delegate as 3/5 of a person?

If you think all this hasn't given the Dems chances a big time blow, then you have ostriches for relatives. You guys had this thing in a cakewalk a few months ago. But thanks to Jeremiah Wright and especially the narcissism of Lady McBeth, this thing will come down to the wire just like the last two elections have.

The show was a twofer… reality TV and comedy at the same time.

Yeah, the Dems don't even see the FL and MI delegates on equal footing as slaves. That should tell ya something.

This will all be over by next week (primary) and Obama will have all summer and the fall to expose McCain and his policies (or lack thereof) for what they are. Remember, despite the Wright incident, all of the Clinton mess, flag pins, muslim accusations, etc., Obama is basically tied or some polls, slightly ahead of McCain. That is some big time resiliency.

I've predicted an Obama victory well before he had the nomination locked up and I stand by that prediction.

The difference is, a few months ago you'd have to have been a moron to not see a Democrat smackdown in the election coming. Now you'd have to be a moron to think it will be anything other than a nailbiter one way or the other.

They couldn't even abide by the dnc pledge that Michigan and Florida would not count.

The Republicans right off the bat decided to take away several delegates for Florida moving their primary up.

Had the Democrats took the same notion as the Republicans, it wouldn't have came down to this.

Yep. Jerking around two swing states isn't exactly the way to win the general election.

The DNC did take the stance to strip all of the delegates from both states. Then Clinton pitches a fit b/c she's behind. Of course, the irony is, even if she had gotten all she asked for, she still would be behind. I mean come on guys, let's not pretend we don't know what's going on here.

You're right she won't be ahead. She'll just continue to play the hand she's dealt and somehow claim popular vote.

One reason as you stated is Hillary crying about Michigan and Florida. She signed the pledge that showed the Democratic Primary schedule. She knew that Michigan and Florida would not count.

Then, when she began her slide after Super Tuesday, she started fussing about the 2 states.
