RunInRed 16,454
I did not realize that historical approvals numbers for Congress were not greater than 40%.
BamaGrad03 0
The sad thing about this? Americans still won't educate themselves on who they vote for...if they vote at all. Then they'll bitch about government not representing them properly. Oh the irony.
DKW 86 7,437
Wow, Congress is almost disliked as much now as it was in 1992. Anyone want to point out what is the same about Congress then and now?

Anyone want to point out what is the same about Congress then and now? No, no, no David don't go there. You know they promised "the most effective", "the most ethical" congress of all time! BTW - how is that going? Is the dim congress the most effective? Is it the most ethical? How is it going?
Justin5 20
Its laughable to look at that decline from 9/11 to today and blame the democrats.

Justin5 20
Trust me, if Obama gets in and we get to 60 votes in the Senate you will see a very effective Congress. And yes, I know the idea of that is a nightmare for you.

So when you get a dim president and 60 votes in the senate all those dim senators and congressmen will all be pure and stop their good buddy loans from Country Wide? Will Chri$$ Dodd chair the investigation of Country Wide?

They will pass tax hikes, keep inflation high, and unemployment too. Get ready for Jimmy Carter 2.0, NO MATTER WHO GETS ELECTED. Funny, but having a Dem President and a Dem Congeress always benefits the Reps or Conservatives shortly thereafter.

I actually LOL at this. I guess we are at THAT point where politicians always let us down. I am just sick that there are no Real Conservatives running this time, and I blame Bush 43 for the mess. He is about as Conservative as a sailor at a cathouse.
