War Eagle 96 10
Not sure where that data came from. I see it's top 30 and not top 25 which is a little weird. But I'm not really surprised. Plating in the sec with our annual cross division rival ga and for years we played Tenn and Fla every year. While other teams like LSU were tryin to get the easiest schedules possible. Texan4Auburn 1,626
Not surprising since when the SEC expanded originally Auburn kept UGA and UF as permanents while some programs took Vandy.

Ronin 2
It's the top 30 programs from the all-time wins list. I like the comment pointing out the win % against top 30 teams. I guess he didn't get the point that some teams play top teams all year every year and some play them in a bowl game when they are having a good year. aucanucktiger 1,807
UF's absense from those lists may highlight how average to bad they were between 1909 - 1990 and why hearing Gator "tradition" is like fingernails on chalkboard to some. The "Top 30" vs. "Top 25" may have a better explanation than I have been able to locate, but at least Jeff Sagarin includes the "Top 30" as a reference in his rankings reports, such as this latest one: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbt11.htm Does anybody have anything that explains why the "Top 30" has more significance than the "Top 25"?
