I grew up in Phenix City and my parents are Auburn alum. My question about a home and home with UTEP stems from a clause that South Alabama had in John Pelphrey's clause when he was at South Alabama. Essentially the clause said that along with Pelphrey's buy out, the next school (knowing he was going to go on to a big time school) he coached had to schedule a home and home with South Alabama. It was a way to get a big time team to play South Alabama. I am curious to know if there was any such clause in Barbee's contract at UTEP? WDE!
