Knowing who's high on us and who are coaches are high on is one thing.  Knowing how a player grades out as compared to others at his position is quite another.

What was really odd that I found about your list is that of the top 10, all the auburn commits/strong leans are odd numbered. 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.  Don't know what to think about Region, but every time news pops up, it seems the more he's distancing himself from Auburn.  But those odd numbered fellas look great to me!

I couldn't say who the top 25 players in the state are, but I wouldn't put a player that doesn't even start for his high school team in there= Fanning.

Here's a top 12 with projected school and star rating.  I really think that this top 12 will stay in-state, but UF will have something to say on some of these guys.  JMO:

Why is everyone penciling Jones in for AU? He's clearly stated that he's undecided at this point and UAT has yet to offer him. If/when they do, that could change things, right?

Ya'lls TOP 12 or so is gonna be everyone's top guys in the state... those are pretty solid! There could be SOME debate about who belongs where among those guys, but I believe that Florence is DEFINITELY the #1 player in the state and he could end up being the state's ONLY FIVE STAR!!! And I actually agree (for once) with Mayo, in that I would swap Region and Shinn!

The rest of the list is pretty good, although I have some qualms with a few guys...

First of all, how did Maleki Harris end up SO high? Second, I think that 19-25 could all be ranked a little too high (except for Kameron Wood, who could be ranked higher, IMO, maybe around 16 or so)! I know it's subjective, but I would have probably made it something like this...

This is just my OPINION, which is what ya'll asked for... and it's DEFINITELY going to change during this recruiting season! Almost every player on this list will at some point move up or down at some point... and there will also be a few NEWCOMERS that will emerge out of nowhere and jump onto everyone's lists! This is fun though!

I'll just sit back and poke holes through the list you guys made(<---Sarcasm). That list is as good as any from scout/ESPN/rivals. It's all a crap shoot anyway. Seems that the AE list seems to be defense and more to the point LB geared. The good thing about that list is that it means there is depth to choose from. With the LB class last year and a few from the upcoming class, AU will be set for a while.

Jonesy... WOW! So you REALLY like Niles, huh? I guess in your opinion he is a pretty important "get" for us, right?

Also, I was wondering about Harris! He didn't even make ya'lls honorable mention list and he is arguably the BEST RB in the state (not counting Calloway)!

Yeah I would say he is important. With him being in state and at a position of need, it sure would be nice to lock him up.

Yeah, personally I would move Rose up a spot and Region back a few, but that's me. I think Spencer will be a good guard, but honestly I was never nearly as high on him as I was the other two offensive line recruits we've gotten since his commitment...his influence on those guys worried me, but I don't think that's going to be an issue.
