AUAeroEngineer 0
Who do you guys think will be the division leaders come the end of the season? Here's mine: NL: East: Braves. Can't go against my boys Central: Cardinals. They'll turn it around, Just too much talent West: Colorado. Finally starting to hit the ball pretty well Wildcard: Phillies. Just too talented to not make a big push in the 2nd half AL: East: Rays. Sorry 88 and golf, but i don't think the Red Sox can overcome their injuries and I think the Rays turn it on bigtime Central: Minnesota. Close race but I think they take it West: Texas. Nobody else in that division will really challenge them Wildcard: Yankees. Too talented to be denied a postseason birth
wellsheit 0
NL East: Braves. If I said anyone else, it'd be like me saying Auburn would lose the Iron Bowl... NL Cent: Like you, its hard to pick against the Cards, but I'm going to go with the Reds. If not for their little slump closing out the season, they'd be in better shape. NL West: Disagree on the Rockies. They are streaky. They were hot as a fire cracker before the break. Padres have the 2nd best record in the Naitonal League and have been slightly more consistent. AL East: Unfortunately the Yankees. As if they weren't already the favorites, now they have a battle cry. AL Cent: Hardest one to call. I think the white sox are the equivalent of the Rockies. Very streaky and hit the streak late. I'll take Minnesota here. AL West: Horrible division. I think the Angels will come out of their slump and take it (not saying much). AUBwins 10,081
NL: EAST: Braves -- yea they are my team but the grit that they are winning games with is unbelievable. WEST: Rockies -- This is a close race between the 3 teams, but I think San Diego has played better than they are CENTRAL: Astros (haha jk) Cardinals -- the Reds are for real this year but The Cards have the 2nd half experience WILD: Dodgers -- This could be Phillies, but the west teams may have the best race at the end of the year. AL: EAST: Rays -- I think they turn it on, especially with maybe a key pickup at trade deadline, unless they trade Upton WEST: Rangers -- With Cliff Lee to go with that offense, they finally win the division. CENTRAL: White Sox -- I just see potential in that lineup WILD: Yankees -- Finish a game back of the Rays for best AL record. Playoffs: NL: Braves beat Dodgers, Rockies beat Cardinals, Braves beat Rockies AL: Rays beat White Sox, Yankees beat Rangers, Yankees beat Rays World Series: Braves beat Yankees in World Series due to home field advantage to send Bobby and Chipper out on top! Go Bravos!
AUtigers2324 42
NL EAST: Braves -- Hudson, Lowe, Jurjjens, Medlen, Hanson CENTRAL: Cards -- Carpenter, Wainwright, Garcia. Votto can't do it alone for the Reds. WEST: Rockies -- really could be anyone but the Dbacks WILD: Dodgers, NL West runner-up AL: EAST: Yankees -- Sabathia, Pettitte, Hughes. A-Rod, Cano, Teixeira CENTRAL: White Sox -- If the Twins go get Roy Oswalt then I'd pick them instead. WEST: Rangers -- Finding a way to get Cliff Lee amidst all their financial trouble was impressive. WILD: Rays
toomexy 0
I'll give a prediction. NL East: Braves. Playing really well. When one player slumps someone picks up the slack. NL Central: Cards. Cincy can't block the door forever. NL West: SD. I know Col and LA are the better teams, but Padres have held there own all year. I really hope they can make the playoffs. Wildcard: A team out west. I will go with LA. AL East: TB. I think they make a run. AL Central: Detroit. CWS can't keep it up. Too streaky. AL West: Texas. Angels can't catch up Wildcard: Yankees. Too much talent not to have one of the best records in baseball. Could easily just switch with TB. I guess it depends on what trades happen before the deadline. aubtigerfan21 0
NL East: Braves Central: St. Louis West: San Diego Wild Card: Colorado AL East: New York Central: Minnesota West: Texas Wild Card: Tampa Bay Playoffs NL Braves over Colorado St. Louis over San Diego Braves over St. Louis AL Yankees over Minnesota Tampa Bay over Rangers New York over Tampa Bay World Series: Braves over Yankees in
TXaubie 567
I love seeing the Rangers on most of the list. Been a huge fan all my life. Mark my words they will be a staple at the top of the west (not saying much) for years to come. If this owner thing ever gets cleared up and Nolan stays with us. Go RANGERS!!! AUAeroEngineer 0
How did everyone do? I was 0-4 in the NL but nailed the AL.
styxfan34 0
How did everyone do? I was 0-4 in the NL but nailed the AL. well, fish you weren't totally off in the NL. You missed the West and Central, but the East and WC were the teams you predicted, just different results.
AUBwins 10,081
How did everyone do? I was 0-4 in the NL but nailed the AL. I also stunk up the NL and only missed Minnesota in the AL Central. For the NL, i knew the ones that did make it would be apart of the race but chose all the pretenders instead of contenders.
