Yes. I agree with this.. the offense stalled the 2nd half of Ole miss and picked up right where they left off.. not sure Finely would have done any better but at least we get a look..

I believe that argument died when Harsin arrived and sat Nix on the bench. Harsin believes nix gives us the best chance to win or he would not be starting him. My only complaint is that when things go sideways and Nix is all amped up he would sit him down.. there was absolutely no excuse for those two fumbles and he should have sat him down after that.. would it have made a difference? Not sure. But give someone else a look in that situation.

Nix had an awful game from the first snap but it goes both ways .. Hudson dropped two passes right In his hands.. I feel like Hudson and Canion are the two best playmakers we have at WR but Hudson is inconsistent and Canion can’t get on the field.. we do not have that guy who can bail out nix when he makes a bad throw and we don’t have that guy who can consistently catch the ball when it is right in his hands.. I am willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt because of the mess Gus left.. the wide receivers are having to learn how to run real routes.. get separation etc.. and the Qb is having to learn as well.. it will be a process and I look forward to the QB battles next year.. should be interesting.

I thought Bo looked panicked and jacked up from the first snap. The game plan didn’t do him any favors and the wide receivers were struggling with separation but he missed some throws and he was pressing. After the two fumbles, he should have been benched IMO.

He has shown improvement each week. What we need is consistency. I think that will come as he continues to progress in this system. It is obvious that everyone on the offensive side of the ball is working hard and getting better. The OL is giving Nix a good pocket to throw from, he is hitting the open receivers and they are catching it. Can't ask for more at this point.

Offense put points up in the first half and defense won the game in the 2nd half. Great win and impressive holding them to 20.

I like Smoke but in my opinion he is so much better in run support than coverage.. we definitely need his leadership out there with whoever is playing opposite of him.. Simpson needs to be on the field..thought he was our best corner in the LSU game.. they are all learning a new system and it will take time.. they have improved.

Agree about Bobo.. he called a great game and the players executed..

Big win. I think it was the best game Nix has ever played for us. Big shoutout to the receivers and tight ends. Defense did what they needed to do and we got a big win on the road.

We need a better OL, a better QB, and better playmakers at the WR, TE positions. Bottom line in this game for the offense.. The Wrs/Rbs/TEs dropped balls that should have been caught and our QB was not throwing the ones he should have.

I saw us playing a lot of man to man Saturday didn't work out great.

I am with you about the secondary Nehemiah Pritchett was put on an island with that kid. He was playing him man to man.. didn't work out to good for us. Execution is our big problem. The players are not making the plays that are there to make. I am hoping that after this game the coaching staff is going to give the backups some playing time because I can not figure out why Canion is not on the field and why he is not in the starting lineup ..

^^^this.. The catch Canion made in the GA State game on the sideline where he kept both feet down.. NFL catch. This kid should be getting some snaps. I am beginning to think we need to put his picture on a milk carton. With all the drops we have, definitely need to see fresh faces on the field. The rotation at wide receiver is a head scratcher for sure.

It also helps that the AM Qb had the game of his life and the DL got pressure on bama QB all night.. saw several drops by the bama receivers

I am glad the staff is getting him some touches and not just using him for pass pro.. he is electric on those passes out of the backfield .. straight up made a man just stand there and look as he strolled by for a first down. He needs more touches and is definitely a great receiver. Just utilize him right and he will produce.

Defense bowed up when it mattered. I believe Jaylin Simpson is our best dB and it is not even close. Dude made some gave saving tackles last night.. shout out to him.

UGA looks scary good to me. Their defense is unbelievable. IMO, we would need a lot of help to win this game. I am thinking Tank has a nagging injury. When he did run last night, he didn’t look himself same as last week.. and I think he is an old school play through the pain guy.. Hunter deserves more carries.. and I am happy to see Shivers being utilized in the passing game. I still do not like our offensive play calling. If the coaches are gonna ride with Bo we have to run the RPO game… the one positive I see going against UGA is that our defense can stop the run and that’s what UGA likes to do.. will definitely need some magic to pull this one out.

TJ was harassed and even sacked he was just able to make the plays.. can he do it against the SEC teams with this OL? Don’t know.. but he deserves the chance.. but you are 100% correct this OL was pathetic today.

He was getting them lined up right and in position something that was missing in the first half.. having him and Papoe out in the 1st half was a disaster.. the defense was misaligned A LOT but the 2nd half Zakoby got them right. No excuse for the defensive performance we saw in the first half.. the OL was trash all game long.. and because of lack of recruiting we will have to live with them all season.. TJ was just able to make plays despite them. He is QB 1 ..he has stuff he needs to work on too but give him the time with the 1s and let’s see how it plays out.. Bobo does us no favors with his play calling but at least Finely made plays when we needed it.. Nix looked awful out of the gate and I am glad they let Finely get a shot.

Man I don’t know.. it is almost like the coaches drilled in his head to stay in the pocket and throw it and not give up and run.. of course that is just speculation.. Tj needs his time with the 1s in practice to get that deep ball right..cuz that was the only flaw I saw with him today. He is definitely not a runner but he does enough to keep the play alive and that’s all we can ask.. these coaches need to ride with him.
