He made improvements and that was certainly visible and he has a lot of work to do to get better and improve his game. Consistency being a big one.

I for one think he needs to take time and evaluate himself and his situation. He needs to know that his ankle is going to heal fine etc.. give the man time to do what is best for him. If he comes back great.. if not great.. we will be fine. I am sure there are many players on the team who have not made public they are considering what is best for them in terms of transferring or leaving the program. that is the bottom line.. do what is best for you.

What are the chances the Georgia dome opens up and swallows them both? That’s my hope.

Agreed.. UGA has a great defense and if they can shut down the bama offense.. I think UGA wins big.. but.. Kirby.. he has shown in the past to do stupid desperate things that allows bama to stay close..

On the stupid 4th down play call at South Carolina, I do believe Shivers was the back and he was wide open in the flat for a sure 1st down.

TJ wasn’t great from the beginning but he did enough right up until he was injured and should have been pulled.. kid played his heart out but he didn’t have it tonight.. and the coaching didn’t help him at all.. once again the play calling was a bad.. he missed a couple receivers and had a couple bad throws but running on 1st and 2nd and then putting him in an obvious 3rd and long passing situation did him no favors. The bama defense just pinned their ears back and ran over our OL.

Doesn’t matter if he dressed or not.. Harsin said after Bo got hurt.. TJ was starter and Loy the backup.. no mention of DD.. it is obvious he is not going to play him.

The offense was not good all game.. felt like TJ was not doing good but he was good enough at the time.. I absolutely hate how BoBo called the game.. we return a punt down to the 25 and get no points.. TJ was fine right up to the point he was hurt and visibly limping .. at that point the OC and coaches just went in the toilet with no backup plan or any semblance of being competent

Obviously Harsin is not going to give DD a chance.. therefore let Loy run an rpo .. we haven’t done anything up the muddle all night and yet we do it again... bama didn’t have to defend anything just clog the middle and stop the run.. 15 points the last 4 games in the 2nd half is inexcusable and should warrant someone losing their job.

Line up Tank and Hunter together and find something creative.. a pass or run.. you needed two yards to win the iron bowl and the Coaches crapped the bed

Just run from the wildcat with Tank , hunter or shivers. We needed 2 yards on 3rd down to put the game away.. coaching lost this game period.

TJ was hurt and we can’t run a wildcat package or zone read with DD or even Loy. Questionable calls on the offensive side is not a good look. The defense was amazing.

Yep he has put up the numbers and he was underutilized in the Penn State game and most glaringly last night.

Dude was one fire last night.. and when it mattered the most with 5 mins left and three timeouts.. he doesn’t touch the ball. He is so talented and if he leaves, can’t blame him. Go find someone who appreciates and trust you to carry the load and like @DAG said.. do what’s best for him.

If the OL continues the good pass blocking, I expect TJ to have a great game passing the ball. We need the pass to set up the run. Every single team we have played has stacked the box to stop our run and the OL has not been great in run blocking. We need a big games from TJs supporting cast. The WRs, TEs, and running backs have to catch the ball and Bobo needs to call the game to TJs strengths. I fully expect TJ to have a great game and we absolutely have a chance to beat Bama with TJ.

What makes the nix injury head scratching is the fact that after he threw the pass and was limping.. he went into the tent on the sideline and when they came out TJ started warming up.. they knew he was hurt.. and still let him go back in… crazy.

I hate this for the kid. Nix is a tough dude.

I think TJ can have a very good game against bama because they are going to load the box to stop the run. with TJs accuracy and throwing into tight windows.. I can see him lighting up the bama secondary which hasn't been good this year. They have given up a lot of yards through the air.

TJ will have to throw the ball to open up the run. Teams are loading up the box against the run to make us throw it. The OL has been much better at pass protection than run blocking..

It was a pathetic call.. absolutely terrible.. my problem was the refs were not calling it both ways.. if that was targeting on Moultry.. how was the hit on Hudson not targeting? The refs were not consistent in their calls..

No reason to blame the players.. 100% on the coaches.. 1. When Nix got hurt.. should have put in TJ.. When Nix can’t run and move around he is ineffective. And since you didn’t put TJ in why in the world are we calling plays that requires our hurt qb to roll out of the pocket.. ridiculous. 2. I have no idea how anyone can say anything about TJ.. the man had 3 plays? The game was lost. 3. the defensive game plan worked ok in the first half but I didn’t see many adjustments in the 2nd half and MSU made adjustments we didn’t. 100% coaching.. I feel like the coaching didn’t even give the players the chance to succeed. I do not think officiating lost the game for us but good lord they made several bad calls.. it seems they were calling PI on us but not them.. saw them holding receivers several times.. no flag.. we didn’t do ourselves any favors and I am not even mad at the players.
