  1. Agree. If Lexi can improve her control and keep her speed, she will be very valuable. Also could improve her off speed stuff. Not sure why he didn't pitch Sam Y last weekend. Maybe saving her for USCe this weekend? The 2 freshman who pitched last week will be Thunder and Lightning by the time they finish here. Dismukes looked pretty sharp as well. I can't see another top high school pitcher coming here next year with the staff we have now.
  2. Great job Stat. Love this. Thanks a million.
  3. So looking at the Twitter clips, is that her making the sliding catch? If so, wow. I'm guessing she's an infielder? And she hits with power as well? Huge pickup.
  4. So we lost another kid from Phenix City. How can anyone be surprised? I don't know why we recruit the area.
  5. Welcome back Coach. We've really missed your insight. Please never pay attention to idiots. You could tell the defensive lineman were gassed, but they sucked it up and kept going. The crowd really helped us and the Worm was AUsome on his touchdown run. Knocking 15's helmet off helped on the 2 point conversion. You tell they were confused on the coverage. Carlson came out of his slump with a huge bang. It was truly a total team win. Again, welcome back.
  6. Wonder if our visitors were impressed tonight? 😉
  7. Thanks Coach. Maybe Bo can copy his dad with a win at Florida Field.
  8. My apologies Slot. A shiny object distracted me. Thanks for the info.
  9. 1 pitcher and 3 catchers. Interesting. Thanks for the info, OW.
  10. Sorry if this was already posted. A friend heard recently the difference between the Atlanta Braves' "A" and the Bammer "A". The Bammer "A" has a mullet. I love it.
  11. There's one of those small guys playing today in the NFC Championship game that's a sure fire hall of famer. It ain't always the measurables that count.
  12. The GIF was hilarious. I don't care you are, that was funny.
  13. No reason to beat yourself up. None of us know what's in a 18 year old's head or heart. When a kid leaves home for college and is on their own for the first time they are faced with making the decisions mom and dad always made. Who knows whether they can make good decisions. SW had an opportunity and missed it, and nobody other than those in his immediate sphere knew what he would do. Even his parents probably didn't know since we all look at our kids through rose colored glasses. There is no measurable for what's in a kid's head and SW would have dropped a few stars if there were. Here's hoping the Nix's have taught Bo the real life education he's going to need starting next week.
  14. Not going to yell at you at all. I just hope he stays on the team. Just at another position.
  15. You are correct. Under Gustav, it hasn't worked out very much, but see my post above. This is uncharted territory. We may have had coach's sons in the past, but none with this pedigree. I think Bo will succeed in spite of Gustav. He may have some growing pains early, but by the time we get to Amen Corner, he won't be a freshman anymore.
  16. To my recollection, Bo Nix will be the first Auburn QB whose dad beat Bammer playing the same position. Whose dad was an OC at two Power 5 schools. I think Bo already has a pretty good position coach. Without Gustav or his staff.
  17. If Johnson is a 3*, I'll take them all day. He looked good. Caught long passes and adjusted well to off target throws to go along with the KO returns.
  18. Sorry. I can't see that far. On the other hand, the two very good options deserve some pondering.
  19. Yeah. In this regard, I feel football is like baseball and softball. You can never have too many QB's or too many pitchers.
  20. There was a time when I could, but now I can't remember.
  21. Does Kayode Oladele not enrolling free up a slot for Sandberg?
