  1. We will get to see. Great thing about all of this.
  2. It happened. I'm sure they started with the usual pleasantries but when the tar hit the road it went that way. Pretty sure that his side was buying into the so called fact that AU's search was going sideways. Something the search never did.
  3. Laughed out of town? He started the interview saying he wanted 6 million and that was firm. AU said, thanks but no thanks. Let's don't be disingenuous here.
  4. I don't know if you could say he was a hot commodity. Sure he got the UF job but was passed up by plenty of teams the past few years. LSU said not thanks. He is a Jeremy Pruitt type of guy. Know even less X's and O's. He a recruiter.
  5. Yep. He's a recruiter first. You would dang sure have some inroads in Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia for sure with Napier. That is why he is high on UF's list. UF is trying to swing for the fence with this hire. I'm pretty sure the the Ole Ball coach is heavily involved.
  6. For 7 million or even 4 million I'd pass on Napier. He is a fall back guy at UF. Sure he is being pushed as the "guy" but there are several names above him. I damn sure thought Harsin was going to be that guy. I wanted Mario but things happened out of AU's and even Mario's control last year. Harsin came in saying the right things but this thing started to go south starting with the Merry Flipmas. From there just one blunder after another. Really disappointing so far.
  7. Tony should know what having no backbone is. He was the definition of a man with no backbone. He was the OC but let Nall call the shots and wouldn't stand up to him. A weak, no backbone man. Just wow. Such a good coach that he now is out of coaching and does a podcast. What a clown. Hugh Nall stole his manhood and never gave it back.
  8. What? So Bo made that read? Come one. If that is the case Bo needs to sit. Put in Finley or let Davis do his thing. I don't believe that to be the case. That was the 1st option and what was called. All you have to do is look at the players coming off the sideline after the call. Read the tweet from Holly Rowe. Players were pissed off at the call.
  9. Mid-major coaching on Saturday night. In the big moments.
  10. It was a scripted play per Harsin. If so, why burn the TO. After the timeout, you still do it. Looked like a moment too big for Harsin. Discouraging and a little scary moving forward. Coming out of the half with a trick play? Damn.
  11. I was being sarcastic on the Gus comment. But that was a Gus esq performance on offense. Didn't pay 30 million in cash to get rid of Gus to have Harsin go Gus on Saturdays. 86 plays and Tank / Hunter had 36 carries I believe? Wow.
  12. Sour? A little. That was just awful game planning and adjusting by Harsin and staff. Given they used almost 3 weeks of prep for this game. They looked lost Saturday and the moment too big for them.
  13. You can be wrong. That is your right. Should have kept Gus. Save a lot of money. Both look like the same coach on offense.
  14. Other than that it looked like Gus was coaching on the sideline.
  15. Tank and Hunter. Pretty much it. Damn sure isn't Harsin and his staff.
  16. QB? Bo didn't call the play. Not throwing Bobo under the bus. Harsin looks like a amatuer with this answer he gave on this. A mid-major coach out of his league.
  17. Looked like a mid-major coach out of his league Saturday night. WR rotation and all. Pathetic.
  18. Harsin went nuclear on the team at the half. None of those players have never been through something like that before.
  19. This is exactly what you want and need from a game like this. Execution.
  20. I know it’s Akron but the OL looks a lot better. That strength train this off-season has made a huge difference. So nice having a real offense now. Looks damn good.
