I agree with this. 2013 was one hell of a year. Nick Marshall is probably my favorite player of all time. What he did in 2013 was magical. He and Cam are right there as far as QB's at AU and magical seasons.

Ellis Johnson was in the booth, saw the bama formation and made the call. Gus OK's the call. After a timeout and they put their return man back there. Which was Chris Davis. Rest is history.

Don't get the sour grapes? They aren't getting any info from the coaches or recruits after visits. They have been cut off. People pay for recruiting info. They are not happy with the way Harsin's staff has cut them off. So they go all scorched earth on the new staff and recruiting. Just go listen to JLee on their podcast. See what he has been writing. Have to remember here, lot of these guys sources are done. They were exposed during the coaching search. Info from them is crap and they all know it now. Lot of egg on a lot of people faces after the search. As far as your second statement........................ MEH. Get concerned in October. Now isn't the time. But you all all butthurt so you do you.

2021 class is going to be a top 15 to 20 type class. Is what it is. 2022 will be different and should be in the top 10. We have some good recruiters, just new. Give it a year.

It was his lack of coaching skills AND missing on a lot of his guys on his side of the ball. Didn't see much of this on the defensive side. Huge misses on offense. Then the lack of development. It was a combination of both. Look at the WR's now. Huge huge huge roster management issues abound. Year to year to year. Criminal that the younger guys didn't get some development. Get at least one of them involved so you have some experience the next year. But Gus didn't have any kind of plans, just rolled with the punches.

We lost plenty of games to our biggest rivals due to talent and coaching gaps. On offense.

Gus left so many gaps year after year these rankings are flawed. Load up on WR's one year. Load up on RB's the next. Load up on guards the next year(Couldn't land any tackles). There was no plan on managing a roster. It was a fly by the seat of your pants type recruiting. Gus had no plan. Tell me one year that there wasn't a glaring weakness on a Gus coached team.

What does this have to do with what I posted? I'm talking about recruiting right now. It's sour grapes. The last 10 years of recruiting was good enough to get Gus fired. It wasn't great.

Gus made Mikey look like a fool and Harsin is going to continue that trend. Fun times ahead.

Cam Newton was never going to MSU when he got the AU offer. It was over for MSU when AU offered him. Per Cam himself. Comparing the 2010 signing class to the upcoming 2022 class is classic Mikey. Dumb as hell.

One more thing here on recruiting. Trend has been that kids really haven't been pulling the trigger in June. Some of it was they wanted to see multiple schools before but some has been to see how schools are handling the new NIL. I do think AU has been out front on the NIL and that won't be a problem moving forward. Lots of things going on with recruiting that the casual fans don't really know. If this trend is still going on in October, then lets start to panic. I think we will have maybe 9 new kids commit before the first snap.

Just want to say one thing here about recruiting. Don't get caught up in the hype that these pay sites like Rivals and 247 are saying, the negative on the recruiting. These sites have been cut off by Harsin and it's become sour grapes. Just like the coaching search, recruiting isn't in the tanks. It's 10x more organized and run like a well oiled business now. Like the other schools we are up against. This will spill over to on and off field results here very shortly. I'd be very surprised if it didn't. Sure Harsin and staff are behind on this class. We all knew they would be. Gus and his band of idiots left us in a bad place. OL, DL. Sure it going to be an uphill battle this year. But I'm told we are about to see some kids pull the trigger. So be patient.

Yep. Use to take customers to Dega and Atlanta twice a year. NASCAR. The most awesome thing I’ve seen racing was when the Indy cars raced on the Atlanta track. It was unreal.
