I can still play the bass guitar with the best of them! When there is no Brave's game on TV and the same for Auburn sports, I like to play along with the 60s & 70s music on DirecTV, and play along with them on my Music Man Ray34 Bass through my 500 watt Fender bass amp. Fun stuff no doubt. I do love my church music the best though, but some of that music is down right hard to play for these old fingers and ancient mind!

I feel good about landing this young man. I think over the next month and beyond, we will add some additional 4 star recruits to the mix. If we can get him, Tisdol, and some others, we will be in the top 10 ranking list.

I would think that AB would welcome coaching from CRG. He is one of the best of the best out there as far as DC's goes.

A Tank in the tank will get it done! If we land him, we will have quite likely the best backfield in the SEC with speed and power. Even without him, our backfield is still very formidable. USCe is not going anywhere fast, and our chances of winning titles are much more likely than USCe.

Question....on a player to player comparison star rating Simpson....9733 /4 star... Riley.....8942 / 4 star Robinson...8976 / 4 star... Kennedy 9629 / 4 star pretty much an even trade as far as star rating factors go.. Not saying we went backwards, but we held our own with these recruitments. Not a bad swap whatsoever!

I really hope we sign him. This will take some of the sting of losing out to the turds on Robinson and Kennedy. He will be a huge get no doubt.

I get to watch them on DirecTV on channels 646 or 649. Been fun to watch this season so far. I think adding Dallas Keuchel will solidify the starting rotation. The Braves though need to go out and spend some $$$$ to get a verified closer who can get the job done. Jackson and Minter are very inconsistent and have cost us some games we should have won. If we could get a proven closer, this team would walk away with the NL East. I am not sure who is out there who could fill this role. However, with the right amount of $$$$ we should be able to get a proven closer. I would love to get deGrom from the Mets! Doubt this will happen, but a nice thought! DeGrom is pitching tonight and is doing a masterful job of shutting down the Braves. We are not that far from having a really super team from top to bottom that can win the NL East and beyond. The Dodgers are the team to beat though.

Juco or not, we need to have a plethora of OTs coming in for the 2020 season. I also see us possibly going to the transfer portal route to sign some OTs. If Gus somehow manages to pull off an 8-4 or 9-3 season in 2020, then we will have Gus around for a few more seasons. I think we will have a solid 2019 season if some things fall in place with our QB, running back, and receivers corps. It will be a brutal schedule and one that allows very little margin of error. I think a 9-3 and possibly better season awaits us for 2019. Let the big boys on defense rumble in 2019.

Out of curiosity, why did you even mention JJ if you did not want to bring him into the discussion? All is good my friend....time to let it go on my end. I was referring to how much better we have been in the past with DT QBs compared to pocket passer types of QBs nothing more, nothing less!

Jeremy Johnson was not close to being a D/T QB and was more of a pocket passer trying to run an offense that was and is geared for a dual threat QB. We definitely have DT QBs in either Bo or Joey. I think this offense will surprise a lot of folks and will put up some nice numbers for 2019. We are playing some tough teams. However, we will be a tough team for anyone on our schedule to face. This gives me hope in that a 9-3 or 10-2 season is very doable. Who knows though. I hope that Joey will be a royal pain in the rear for all teams we will face. If not Joey, then Bo who is an excellent option no doubt.

2018 is a distant memory in the Doc's mind. 2019 gives me hope and I think this team could be special on both sides of the ball. I think the chemistry is strong on both sides of the ball. This is a very tough schedule and will take a special team to navigate it with minimal losses. I pray that great things will happen and we will be in for an entertaining 2019 season and one that will make us proud.
