Just to be totally honest, the “moral high ground” people who refuse to accept CHF because of his past mistakes don’t know the same Jesus I do. It’s been around 8 years and he has shown genuine repentance and a renewed character and humility. He has openly shared about his mistakes and even more importantly, the lessons he’s learned from them and how others can learn so they don’t repeat his mistakes. We all make mistakes, lots of mistakes, big mistakes, and Jesus died in our place so we can be forgiven and redeemed! CHF understands that a whole lot better than the folks that shun him because his mistakes are more public than theirs. Sorry y’all. I’m stepping down from my soapbox now.

Yes! We got outbid because we weren’t as desperate as those 2. Which I hope will eventually be good for college football. If talent gets spread around more then hopefully it will make things more interesting.

If I remember correctly….😬 Asante is a beast! Keyes is pretty good. Riley is a decent backup. Woodyard has been MIA so far. He came in with a good bit of potential, but we haven’t seen it yet. Then our incoming FR - Riddick will be an absolute weapon!!! Probably will get a good bit of playing time next year! Philips is also one with a ton of potential. I like those guys a lot!!! Transfer - Mausi was a productive LB for Duke, so we expect him to come in and contribute day 1. So, including the incoming guys, I’d say we’ll have a solid 3 deep. hopefully I’m not forgetting anyone.

AU definitely has the talent to make some noise this year. If we hadn’t crapped the bed at the end of the Baylor game and shot better that 11% at App St we’d be talked about a lot more right now. (I know. Candy and nuts and all). But we’re just now starting to play decent. We’ve got the potential to get much better! I hope we peak much closer to March this year.
