If I’m not mistaken, Nelson was a pre-season all SeC player. He was the talk of team. Don’t know why it’s that big of a surprise. He was mentioned in the preseason more than Knecht. 6-10 guy that can shoot the three. I think he’s biggest problem was defense and getting in foul trouble

That’s the question you got out of that? That’s why trying to have a decent discussion on anything political topics is worthless. Everyone has their point of view and little will change no matter what is said. Pennsylvania governor changed election laws with the stroke of the pen and was upheld by the courts. Does that still make it right? Just look at some of the Supreme Court rulings, Biden doesn’t care. He is still forgiving student loans. I’m not a Trump fan, but I can look at how he was treated and currently what is happening and know that no one is remotely treated the same way. But it’s okay, that’s why I try and stay away from the political forum because the same few people over here think there is only one point of view worth listening to.

I have asked and will continue to ask, do people on here consider a governor changing election voting standards legal without going through proper state legislation? How about voter mail in ballots? I’m not a voting machine rigging conspiracy theorist but I can plainly see that election voting was changed without the proper process last election. And what was the excuse? Covid. But yet city after city was protested, rioted and looted in the name of social justice without any pushback from democrats.

The last couple of games in the tournament he got tagged for a couple of technicals and I believe it was the Florida game that he almost threw a punch. He raised his arm up to throw it, but at the last second changed his mind.

From short clip I saw, the Yale player pushed off with his hand to get separation. CBM was a flagrant attempt to elbow the guy in the chest. It’s a I’m not going to let you get away with pushing me around and it’s a cheap shot.

He’s got some issues to figure out or when rubber meets the road, he will revert back to his old ways. He almost threw a punch in the Florida game but only got a technical foul.

It goes without saying and it is an insult to anyone that knows anything about basketball, that scoring is the name of the game. But fouls, turnovers, missed free throws and CBM getting tossed was the reason Auburn lost. In the last few minutes of the game, Auburn was in the position to make 9 points at the free throw line if they made them all, they made 1. Auburn went 4 straight possessions turning the ball over without even attempting a shot when they were up 7 with 6 or so minutes to go in the game. Yale was shooting free throws with about 12 minutes remaining in the game and in the double bonus with 5 or 6 minutes left.

CBM has gotten away with this type behavior for most of the last few games. He almost threw a punch during the SEC championship game, but at the last moment backed away. Playing with an edge and a streak of toughness does not equate to throwing random elbows running down the court. Auburn was a better team with CBM on the court, but I don’t understand how you don’t let him know that that isn’t the way to handle business. The captain and assistant coaches needed to reel this in from day one.

This right here ^^^^^. Didn’t say anything when they were complaining but it’s a bad look on our coaches part. Just say…we are glad to be in the tournament and have to play a tough Yale team. End of story.

What if they had Knecht, Sears, Larry Bird, Dr. J and Kareem? Think we would be undefeated?

It’s actually come down to 11.7 from 13 when the NCAA cut football down to 85. It’s all about offering equal amounts of scholarships to women sports and to keep “competitive balance “ in baseball. It’s so schools don’t cut sports just so they can offer more baseball scholarships.

I don’t know how someone that remotely watches Auburn baseball and thinks that Auburn isn’t playing at a high level. Auburn has been to two CWS in the last four seasons (2020 Covid yr). That’s a huge accomplishment.

Absolutely….never understood why the state of Alabama doesn’t seem to want to help the universities and colleges throughout the state. Especially when dealing with a stupid rule as 11.7 scholarships.

I understand your sentiment, but you have to understand that the SEC is now the top dog in College Baseball. It’s extremely hard to win the conference. I would say that it is harder to win the conference than it is to win a national championship. I’ll keep taking hosting regionals, super regional wins and CWS appearances.

Okay whatever you say. What president in the last 40 years has done any of that? It’s all just status quo for anyone that is elected. There are no give and take by anyone anymore. And that includes democrats and republicans.
