  1. So over the course of 12 years, BK averaged 9 win and 3 losses per year. Throw in one outlier of a season 4-8, and the man would have averaged over 10 wins a year. He has won more than 10 games a year for the past 5 or 6 years in a row. Would you not consider that elite?
  2. Eking, people get wrapped up in the “win the title or else category “, and I’m not a subscriber to that theory. Kelly was very successful at ND and had them in the playoffs several years and consistently winning 10 games a year. Not a whole lot of people were beating Alabama or Clemson during this time. I’m sure that everyone wants to win a national championship but in reality, only a few even have a chance, and he had ND in that “having a chance “ category.
  3. I don’t believe it’s a “poison the well” scenario. I would Agree with strong probability that throughout this young man’s life that the father has on occasion let it be known about his time at Auburn on a negative scale. This is most likely to some degree have an impact on the young man.
  4. No they aren’t. They haven’t played anyone, and the ones they have played that’s any good has beaten them. Not really sure who you actually cheering for?
  5. No offense to Wes or Allen, but they are no longer a part of Auburn University. Thank them for their time and dedication to Auburn while playing and working for the University, but it’s time to move on. I hope Auburn wins by 30. I wouldn’t be mad if no one on ole Miss scores at all. Hell, I hope Auburn sets some kind of record in the win.
  6. Maybe Washington will hire Harsin?!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  7. I never understood why some people on here respond to some of these post. They are obviously trolls. Don’t give their comments a second thought. Trolls be trolling
  8. I’m not going to say negative things about the man but would like to add an observation on my part. People on here like to talk about coaching (good or bad) and players (good or bad). They say things like don’t talk about the players because they are just kids….it’s poor coaching. Then someone makes a statement about “well, he wasn’t that great of a coach “. Then people get upset about someone making that statement. I say all this to bring up one particular play that totally brings all this into question. it’s the play in the Alabama game three seasons ago when Tank ran out of bounds stopping the clock. Was that poor coaching or just not smart play by the running back?
  9. Way way worse than someone getting a free hamburger. Interesting to see what happens. If Kirby goes pro, hammer must be coming down
  10. This conversation about elite programs or not elite need to be defined by certain criteria. Are we going back 25, 50 or 100 years? Are we going back to segregation?
  11. Recruiting juggernaut…. but what about X’s and O’s? Play calling? Would like to hear your thoughts on this.
  12. Come on man…. just because someone on here knows someone that plays (and for Alabama at that) doesn’t mean he needs to play well or win player of the year. I want Alabama to lose every game and all their players to play like crap.
  13. It shows exactly the lack of football savvy and discipline of your particular assignment by the DB’s. The problem with anyone running around trying to stay with a receiver was the problem. All eight DB’s could have stood in the end zone with their eyes on the Quarterback and waited for him to throw the ball and knock it down. I didn’t have a problem rushing 3, but I did have a problem that the 3 rushing didn’t even rush.
  14. Not sure that it works that way. I think that money was donated to the university for the purpose of building the facility. As far as NIL, universities can’t be associated with that money. Now, could the funds have been donated to NIL instead of the Athletic Department, sure, but I think that’s hindsight. I don’t think anyone thought that NIL collectives were going to be so powerful in recruiting.
  15. That’s another discussion altogether. I’m comparing it to a Hail Mary only in the sense that it was their last play on offense. The original post was describing the 1-91 against 3rd or 4th over 30 something yards. All I’m saying is that there have been teams recently who have given up touchdowns on plays longer than that at the end of a game (hence my comparison to a Hail Mary). What’s the difference between giving up a 4th and 31 or giving up a 45 yard play to end the game?
  16. Where can I get me one of those unlimited money tree’s? This is not a question for you or anyone else for that matter, but I wonder how many on here are donors to OTV ?
  17. It’s the same as a Hail Mary. If the play fails, the game is over because no more timeouts by Bama. And I know it wasn’t a Hail Mary, I was comparing the supposedly impossible play to that play because it was a do or die situation
  18. That’s kinda a misleading stat. I’ve seen a share of Hail Mary attempts be successful. I’m not excusing the play because I think it was bundled by everyone, players and coaches.
  19. There we go. Let it out . We know why you are here. You love Auburn. Welcome aboard
  20. And it took a 4th and 31 to beat that terrible team. Go Big Blue. Go night night buddy, you got work in the am
  21. Then you are the exception. I’ve seen thousands walk out of a stadium at the start of a 4th quarter when Bama was behind and this is 2012. After losing, what, 2 games in 4 seasons.
  22. I will say this….it would be nice to have that luxury but your fan base takes it for granted and I get just as much satisfaction watching Bama lose than anything
