You really can’t compare Gus and Bruce. Gus going to the NC game his first seasons is like a guy taking out a girl on a first date- he brings the flowers, opens the doors for her, pulls out her seat for her and walks her to the door for a really impressive first date. Then every date after that pretty much went downhill because he stopped doing the little things that made the first impression. Bruce on the other hand keeps doing those things year after year and not only has he won over the team, he’s won over the entire family.

Using two hands was a good decision. As long as he maintained possession and made a medical move, then the surgery counts as a completion. War Eagle Fifty, get better soon.

It says all the right things about why the facility is not underway. I get why people are skeptical of coaches and contracts in general but I’m just going to believe Bruce is different. Either way, it’s time to take the project off hold and get moving on it.

I think we are all at least 99% positive that CBP would have had that NC at Auburn if a certain set of referees had called the double dribble. He was also an injured Chuma away as well. Those things were unfortunate but they can happen anywhere. Bruce knows it too. And Bruce doesn’t strike me as a person who will take his ball and go home if he doesn’t get his way because of a shoe contract. If he feels he is not valued, maybe, but I don’t think there is a coach on campus that is more loved and valued than he is. Cohen has proven up to this point he is the real deal. If we were set on taking UA money the announcement would have been made a while ago. I don’t think there’s anything to be concerned about.
