It is terrible looking on TV, regarding the refs. Alabama continues to be the “Holding Champion” of the SEC. Refs are trying hard to help them,as well as our occasional mental lapses on Defense.

Best post all night. Regardless of our own ineptitude, we invariably get someone looking to make a better “name” for themselves by beating an SEC Team. Tonite we just went too far.

I wouldn’t mind going to a Bowl Game and winning. But, that does not then become a reason for any contract changes. Not at this stage of his tenure. Just pay what the contract promised to start with and let the future take care of the rest.

We may not get a bowl invitation after the effort from this game.

Someone, I believe on this site, said last week that we still did not yet “know how to win.” I do believe that. Fortunately the last 3 weeks we had some very fortunate plays that put us ahead early and fairly easy. The team reacted positively and fed off the breaks. But teams that know how to win are named Georgia and Alabama. Winning has to become a belief. Besides the lack of focus and effort tonight, NMSU struck Auburn in the mouth and we did not know how to react nor did we have players to make it happen. Have no other choice now but to hope and wish we are going to be able to move forward and learn how to win. JMHO

I have to keep the faith. Definitely hoping that this game does not become much more than just a bad loss on a bad effort and night.

If my memory was any good, I may be able to come up with that was more dishonorable. But until that happens, this is my worst memory. And I’ve been watching in earnest since 1964!

I personally do believe that today’s game hurt, yes.

Sad day for us fans that had hoped to see continued positive things from this team.

It’s just a shame for us Auburn Fans. However, I hope the players feel humiliated by their effort. It’s obvious that our team was not mentally prepared. On top of that, they were plainly outmatched. If they had been mentally into the game, we may have a chance. But they started with those 2 negatives against them and it went downhill from there. I am unhappy with the players and somewhat with the coaches not being able to prepare them. Sure they had Bama on their mind, but they did not even seem into the game . I am now sorry that we are Bowl Eligible. I we are sadly in need of the Bowl practice for future development. But, gracious can they at least show and play when they wear the Auburn Uniform?
