  1. Maybe, but they wouldn't be asking him to cut his vacation short just so they can fire him. He doesn't have to be present for that. That makes me think they want to talk to him to hear his side of the story.
  2. Because he should have the right to defend himself from the accusations.
  3. Or maybe they want to hear Harsin's side of the story before they fire him.
  4. I'm questioning Nix's ability to handle criticism. He'll get eaten alive at the next level if he makes it that far.
  5. I agree with the second part but Harsin was calling his own bluff. Was he really calling it a competition between Nix and Finley? Also, if Nix left Auburn because he didn't want a qb competition, well, he stepped right into one at Oregon.
  6. He's got to have thicker skin than that. Every fan base has negative fans.
  7. Why would Nix, a huge Auburn fan growing up, want to leave his dream job?
  8. Are you calling Bo Nix a legacy QB? He's already been forgotten as far as I'm concerned. He would have been the default starter this year only because Auburn didn't have a back up plan at qb.
  9. We went winless in the SEC because we didn't have a QB. Frasier, Malzahn's recruit, absolutely bombed. It's easy for a team to become unhinged when the team is losing. Gus was able to come in and win with Chizik's roster plus a QB.
  10. 4 seasons but just one season of under .500 football got CGC canned. If Harsin has another season like this, his seat will be blazing hot. If TJ Finley is Auburn's starting QB, they will be hard pressed to win more than three games next season.
  11. Well, Gene Chizik was fired after two seasons. I'm not saying it will happen but, if this team goes 3-9 next year, anything is possible.
  12. If Finley is starting next year, this team won't win more than three games.
  13. Auburn hasn't finished under .500 since 2012 and we all know how that season ended.
  14. Finley is a dreadful QB. He gave Auburn no chance.
  15. It's just a matter of time before OU is in the SEC. It wouldn't surprise me to see the two Alabama teams slide east while OU and Texas head into the SECw.

Didn't Auburn offer him one and didn't he turned it down?
  17. What? The Georgia St. Last gasp win didn't trouble you? Auburn is very lucky to be in a bowl game this year. LSU was awful this year to put it mildly and it took some Bo Nix heroics in the pocket and a blind end zone pass to pull off a miraculous win. People were disappointed that the committee granted us such low level inferior opponents and most were overconfident in the result when we played Minnesota last year and UCF several years ago and we lost both those games. We were heavy favorites in both. Houston can score a lot of points and Auburn is starting a back up QB that looked outright dreadful against Alabama so color me a little skeptical that we'll kill them.
  18. I'd say it's like once every two years because they rarely win at Alabama.
  19. I didn't realize it was disrespectful to call someone out for a boneheaded play. It literally happens to the best of them.
  20. By Bama's standards, they had a mediocre season and still finished 10-2. They're about to get waxed by Georgia but if 10-2 is showing cracks, then they have a rock solid foundation. I would kill for that type of mediocrity along with a perennial top 3 recruiting class at Auburn.
  21. Or the ill-advised sack on third down by Finley that knocked them out of FG range.
  22. He did basically nothing for 4 quarters except for one 50/50 ball that led to Auburn's only end zone score in regulation. Of course. The run game was nonexistent so it's hard to open up the passing game if you can't run it.
  23. And Loy was never coming in for a crippled TJ Finley.
  24. He needed to be pulled before he got hurt. He's basically done nothing all game.
