The thing about freeze is he will have another game like that. It’s too much of a pattern. He will win games that we probably shouldn’t win and give up a game we shouldn’t. But with extension of the post season, it may not completely reset the season.

Honestly I don’t have faith that Thorne will prove to be have improved to the point of taking us from a six win team to an 8 or 9. My hope is the people around him can offset it all. I do hope that this loyalty to Thorne does not become the undoing of Hugh Freeze.

as football is the major sport, which college athletics seems to be shaped upon based on revenue, that is where the resources will be mostly allocated to. It has never just been about competing for championships. Clemson and FSU are big dogs in the ACC and they are trying to get out of there. Same reason why it wasn’t good enough for Texas and OU to be the pillar of the big 12.

I agree, it certainly does not seem sustainable. I honestly wish when Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields bought this up years ago it would’ve been some sort of pathway for shared revenue . But it didn’t happen, now we got this.
