Some of the running for his life was his own doing. The other could be blame on the o lineman/WRs/Scheme. I think the offensive line got way too much blame last year. I tend to think the WR play and schemes were worse. It would seem all of these have been approved. He has all the support now with an extra year to boot and full support from the staff. There should be no more excuses.

Based on the actual thread, it seems there was not too much love lost when he entered the portal. It seems fans would be happy he would go to the rival, based on the idea that he had not played up to his potential here, and they would be getting a downgrade.

Yes, but things changed A LOT this year. This is not like last year. So you can't compare it to last year as we have two additions to a new conference, and UGA hasn't even started yet. You got a couple of new coaches, and this is not an Auburn wildcard-coached team from Hugh Freeze. But some of you guys will learn the hard way.

I think the concept is pretty easy. With more pay , more resources , comes more responsibility. I feel like our fans try to rationalize away a lot of things , while also having hatred for the other side because of their success.
