  1. Yeah that was also a key in his success. The tailored offense system . Of course he still has to go out and perform but kudos to the Oregon staff in building an offense to his skill set. The NFL will be much different. We shall see.
  2. Good for him. Will say he has a steep learning curve ahead of himself as the offense at Oregon hardly asked him to learn reads and progression. Hope they are willing to be patient with him.
  3. True. I can see the opposite happening as well too and them getting up BIG TIME for this game to prove their belong. I certainly am not ready to pencil this in as a W.
  4. Some of the running for his life was his own doing. The other could be blame on the o lineman/WRs/Scheme. I think the offensive line got way too much blame last year. I tend to think the WR play and schemes were worse. It would seem all of these have been approved. He has all the support now with an extra year to boot and full support from the staff. There should be no more excuses.
  5. Come on man. The o line is fine , the rb room is fine and the WRs are fine. All of these groups are more than capable.
  6. If we get him, that should be adequate weapons for PT and this offense.
  7. The funny thing is majority of those guys on UConn won’t make any formidable impact at the next level. Not to say Sears game won’t translate at the next level but it’s not so simple as that.
  8. People going to believe what they want. I don’t expect him to be ready next year and it will do him some good just to sit and learn. It’s a concern and one that was noted in high school. Here are a couple of excerpts from a 247 evaluator: “Needs to cut down on the errant throws as he’s thrown more picks than any other blue-chip passer in the 2024 cycle, but TD-to-INT ratio did improve in his final prep season when he led his squad to the state finals.” “Must improve his accuracy and get more consistent with his ball placement, but has the arm strength to attack the deeper third and occasionally flashes some touch.”
  9. That will get you banned around these parts my guy.
  10. He is a beast so that’s a very good thing
  11. For sure Cam is getting the major money. I am talking life changing money. I think those players are few and far between tbh.
  12. I highly doubt he is getting that. In fact, I bet most numbers are exaggerated, and a selected few are making the big money.
  13. Based on the actual thread, it seems there was not too much love lost when he entered the portal. It seems fans would be happy he would go to the rival, based on the idea that he had not played up to his potential here, and they would be getting a downgrade.
  14. I think we will always be in that 8-15 range. I am ready to break the top 5, and the biggest selling point will be results on the field. We need a big jump in offense productivity.
  15. Yes, but things changed A LOT this year. This is not like last year. So you can't compare it to last year as we have two additions to a new conference, and UGA hasn't even started yet. You got a couple of new coaches, and this is not an Auburn wildcard-coached team from Hugh Freeze. But some of you guys will learn the hard way.
  16. Long way to go but not thinking this class get the hype it was getting early on this year. All things can change this fall.
  17. Alleged 180k is jack s*** now. Imagine what he really could’ve gotten during this day and age.
  18. exactly. This will be the key for quite a few of the top recruits.
  19. I mean UK basically put all the heat on Cal for early exits, doubt they would be looking at Pearl based on the recent track record.
  20. I think the concept is pretty easy. With more pay , more resources , comes more responsibility. I feel like our fans try to rationalize away a lot of things , while also having hatred for the other side because of their success.
