  1. 1 quarter in - we are seeing this coaching staff in real action. The team seems to have avoided a meltdown in the environment. Just need to fix a few things like the play calling and remember we have some pretty good running backs
  2. Derrick Mason needs to earn his check on the sideline and fix that
  3. Guy just took a stroll in the endzone uncovered from one side to the other
  4. D Line has got to get there to the QB - just not get close
  5. Love how Harsin went right to him to have a talk
  6. Stop that Smoke - jut get back to the play - no need for free yards with the throat slash
  7. That will be a CBS game - so the Auburn/PSU should get Kirk because it has a Big10 foe in it. He won't have to travel from the Gameday set.
  8. 1st and Goal from the one and Bo keeps it on the option for a loss when Tank is in the backfield- is this stuck in last years offense?
  9. As a Broncos fan I was hoping he could make the main squad - the Broncos are only running with 5 WRs on the main squad so he may get a shot coming back sooner rather than later. There are 2 other WRs on the Practice squad with him. Bronco WR's have Courtland Sutton coming back from injury - and KJ Hamler who must have some of the tightest hamstrings in the NFL - dude is always held out with soreness in the hamstrings. They also have Jerry Jeudy who quite frankly IMO stunk last year and needs to step it up this season - he is a darling of the fans and media but had way too many drops last year and takes plays off much like he did at Bama. He's not much into run blocking and that has always been a staple of Bronco WRs. Yet he is projected as a "star". During preseason most Bronco fans were impressed by Seth - he has some highlight moments in the the joint practice with the Vikings when he got a shot with the 1s. He was pushing for a spot no doubt. Sadly he wasn't getting a lot of playing time with the 1s - and I bet he wishes he could work with a real QB someday soon. Most of his reps came from Rypien - and that is tough - and the Broncos are going to be very run oriented with old school Vic Fangio coaching and Pat Shurmer as OC. Not a lot of opportunity. On the plus side he didn't shy away from special teams assignments and by all indications did well there. In the end he's going to have to go for the Tim Patrick spot - who is a real unheralded player that deserves more focus because of how well he played in the Courtland Sutton spot last year. Patrick will be up for a contract next year - and may go elsewhere to star. Go Broncos!!
  10. We usually come in from the Cox Rd - Wire Road side of campus - what is going on with construction there and is it enough to be a PITA and to find another route?
  11. I think it comes down to trust with Bellichick - Cam's COVID caviler attitude was causing issues(this last one especially) in the trust department and BB did not want to go into the season where another small misstep from Cam would cause more problems than his value as a player. Mac Jones is also closer in style to the Brady offense that McDaniels runs - the Patriots do things the Patriot way and they like to plug people into the role and have them work that role. If you don't fit the role it's harder to make the team. The Broncos really busted him up.
  12. I don't understand - this is a monetary issue for the university/program as the bowl payout for a 6-6 bowl is a lot different than the bowls you go to with 8/10 wins. So if missing a key player or coach affects the win/loss column - or worse yet a forfeiture comes into play with lost revenue from the game and a win - that difference alone makes getting to 100% vitally important.
  13. Lived two blocks from the famous Lions Lair on Colfax in Denver. Great great punk bar. Saw great shows there and stumbled home or across the street to Pete's Kitchen for 24hr greek breakfast - I miss it all the time. John Doe
  14. What I hope happens is no longer having to watch pandemonium strike the sideline coaching staff, wasting time getting the play in, coming to the line of scrimmage and not understanding the play, having a bunch of wasted motion. Then realizing the play clock is about to expire and calling timeout and allowing the opponent to rest and get a defensive call in after tipping our hand with a formation.
  15. Aren't there a lot of remembrance ceremonies taking place around 11AM on Sept 11th?
  16. I would not miss Tiger Walk - so your pregame "problem" will be hanging at Skybar and then walking across campus to the walk along Donahue - Tiger Walk starts at Samford and Doanhue and goes down by the baseball stadium to Jordan-Hare at Heisman. (look on a map) You will have to cover some ground and they usually start 2 hours before game time. It doesn't last long and it's fun to be there as the crowd builds up before it starts and some cheers take place - it won't be as raucous for GA St - but it will be a family day for sure. There was (not sure this year) a tailgate party open to all outside the baseball stadium at the corner of Heisman and Donahue. It's a little bar setup - nothing big but if you are roaming around vs tailgaiting at a tent it's an easy spot to get a beer or two and watch TVs. So getting from Skybar down the hill to that area does take some time to do it casually - your call on what you want to do. Hitting Skybar after the game might be better and it's across from Toomers corner. Another thing that I enjoy is the Marching band coming in from all 4 streets and meeting at Heisman and Donahue for some fight songs before marching into the stadium - not sure the exact timing but it's about 1 hour before the game. They post the time on the gameday schedule. You can also walk along the east side of the stadium and there is a stage/tent that is setup for the pregame radio show. There are usually some former Auburn players showing up there and signing autographs. Big games bring the big stars - not sure what you will get with GA State. But if some player has the weekend off in the NFL they do come to campus on Saturday - and are also leading Tiger Walk.
  17. I've got a helluva buzz going - Thanks Terrapin!
  18. It's this ^^^. Kid should have been sitting on the bench learning the position and fixing his footwork.
  19. But it was a dominant playbook in Arkansas high school football - best in Arkansas history - so I've been told.
