  1. I think along with wr separation, QB accurate passing ability has equal responsibility for our poor passing last year. QB must be accurate and have confidence in the process to throw the ball. The choice last year was to hold the ball.
  2. The previous situation with CFB (meaning no NIL and total control over player movement (always in the college’s favor, rarely in players favor), gave the fans the best situation. It was also the worst situation for the players. I agree the present situation changes teams yearly and sounds like it costs colleges a great deal of money (assuming donations to NIL has a negative economic impact to the college). I believe economics will always straighten things out and colleges got what they deserved by not straight forwardly addressing the situation a long time ago.
  3. You just need to straighten them out!! Sounds simple.
  4. I vote to spend someone else's money too!! Lol
  5. I agree that present system is not sustainable. I also believe the amount of money CFB provides for all financially connected (not just observers like me) will cause the system to self adjust to remain viable. Non connected observers (like me) Just need to keep watching!!
  6. I’m trying to understand what you are seeing that will “kill” college sports. It will just be a new team each year. As a matter of fact “Ole Miss” probably lands better than they ever would by bringing in 3-4 year scholarship players. Auburn just has to figure out how best to play the game. I bet it doesn’t wind up being “ have to be in top 5 recruiting class each year”. I also believe the NIL money will calm down some down the road, much the same way that NFL handles it. Still large sums for some positions, but more rational approach to others. Players will still be paid, but natural economics will win out.
  7. Probably correct about “clothes don’t make the man”, definitely should be about the content of his message. I don’t follow him enough to determine what that is, but hopefully someone in these players lives is.
  8. I thought it was reported he was breaking up a fight, not that he was actually attacked.
  9. From what I read, the new co-op between Big10/SEC will land all this at same time ( beginning with biggest linchpin of rev sharing).
  10. Pretty sure he knew he was gone soon. From what I heard they moved from within bc that is what they could afford at this point. Apparently money is tight until Big 10 money starts flowing.
  11. I don’t see this happening. UCLA needs Big 10 style coach.
  12. I read that he was looking at making 2 of the coaches they were afraid of loosing CO-OC’s probably trying to keep them. Not sure if it will keep them out of NFL though. Big deal to loose OC, Ol, and WR coaches all at this time.
  13. I read an article that stated Harris did not help his draft status at senior bowl, but when I watched the game, he was called out several times for outstanding plays. I think he did help himself.
  14. Especially if he was a WR!!
  15. You have something against high rise Khakis? I can’t imagine a problem with these. Lol
  16. Our own fault on the choices of headcoaches moving on ( we asked them to move on). On Assistant coaches some got better/ more preferred roles, and some were asked to move on. In the assistant case, I don’t think we do much different than anyone else. We get the right HC and he should hang for awhile.
  17. I thought they already allow professional athletes to play olympics in the same sport they make a living in (basketball for instance).
  18. I especially like the way they are dividing up the responsibilities. Durkin taking over LB’s is good move I believe.
  19. Freeze will probably look for someone he is familiar with.
  20. I think early on, Freeze thought Ashford was going to come through but finally decided he wasn’t.
