The kicker in all of this is I believe the 2019 played a pretty tough OOC schedule as well just like Bama

Man this looks like the UConn invitational. They are steamrolling teams. Putting them in what was perceived to be a tough bracket made them go to another level

Bottom line in all of this is win and advance. I would have no problem if Auburn was in the same position. U cant control what happens around u.

The counter argument to that is Auburn is very hard to beat at home . Especially during the CBP era. However, they did sweep Auburn last year . With that being said what else do use to determine things other than numbers. Do people get fired because of their record or not.

They were going back and forth pretty much the entire game. Not sure how it could be called a collapse on the Tar Heels part. Bama played all this tough teams early in the season. Now it seems that’s paying dividends. I think Clemson beats them again. I see it as being a bad matchup for them like Florida

To date he is 6-3 against CBP. Hard to argue that CBP is the better coach. Oh well. All one can do is hope for the best. I

Once players started getting paid the entire landscape of college sports changed. Unfortunately u gonna have people voice their displeasure . Especially if u donating big money. The bottom line Auburn should have won that game regardless IMO

It’s a slippery slope. They played Arizona , Purdue, Creighton, Clemson, and Oregon during the season. The moment shouldn’t be to big for them. It will be interesting because they didn’t shoot it particularly well .

I believe getting away from underarmour would help. Underarmour is pretty reputable in football but in basketball terrible IMO

I am still not sure which game was worse Yale or Ky in which everything came apart.

Bruce is responsible for those players and supposed to put them in the best position to win the game. One example is KD is a volatile player in which more things go wrong than good. Most of the time he is playing out of control. That’s on the coach. Example #2 CBP doesn’t use his timeouts very well IMO. Things go south and more often than not try to let them play through it. They aren’t pros u have to save them from themselves. As a coach u have to adapt when things break down. Broome was clearly the best player that day. Do u roll the dice and keep Broome in or keep with ur usual pattern. Broome goes out and momentum is lost. Some might not care for Buzz but he was a helluva in game coach yesterday. Just didn’t have the difference makers like Houston .

I don’t think them being away from the jungle was that big of an issue. On a neutral court they had only lost to Baylor . They struggled in true road games but that was across the board in college basketball. It was just weird for a hot team to do a 180 and all the flaws were exposed in one game. Maybe it was just a fluke or the program is jinx. Auburn should have won regardless of the refs and missing CBM

Absolutely he made a boneheaded play. I wished J Will would have stepped up and said not today but know that’s his demeanor. The guards came up short and too much to list . I think Donaldson playing more minutes than usually made him less effective down the stretch. Broome did his best but shortcomings at the line has always been an issue. I would prefer 6 or 7 really dependable guys versus 10-12. In the NBA during the playoffs the benches tend to shrink.

I might have to island hope to watch it live. Looks like a good line up

I just looked back at last years schedule and it looks like last years team was more battle tested . The OOC schedule was more difficult

Yes Aden played all of 13 minutes. Which forced Tre to play way more minutes than usual
