I've never been an official, I just relayed what he told me.

I can't recall if I mentioned this on here previously or not. One of my clients has a Big 12 official who I've dealt with on occasion. Before a meeting one time one of the other guys was asking him how they call certain things and what they look for and the topic of holding came up. I made a comment about DB being double-teamed and held almost every play. His response was basically he's usually the best player on the field and he's good enough that it shouldn't matter if he's held or not. That's not verbatim, but the basic gist of it was they aren't going to throw a flag on it on every single play when the player is that good. That response was surprising, but based on what we saw his senior year, definitely believable.

What about "Bingo Bango Bongo!"? Not sure where that came from, but it has just the right mix of excitement, positivity, and stupidity.

Kid looks like a great and unexpected pick up, and hopefully he is used "properly", but the biggest concern is his history of concussions. Hopefully he stays healthy for his long-term sake.

Fluid is definitely an appropriate description. The kid runs smoothly. On a side note, I like the couple of pass plays in the clip - the QB takes off down field trying to block for him after he completes the pass.

I don't know anything about this kid, but for those not from Georgia, Grayson plays at the highest Georgia classification level and is a top tier team. So when his coach said he's their best offensive lineman, that gives me the warm and fuzzies. Plus he has near perfect "center size".

In my opinion the "7 blocked punts" is the most WTF stat there.

Once the early signing period is over don't high school kids have to wait until February to sign?

Was hoping our OL commits would enroll early. Losing four starters, it would be great to have them in and getting ready prior to next summer.

I hate to quote myself, but my friend with the DN friend still says they are hearing AU. Of course, their info may not be good, who knows. I guess we'll know for certain in two hours.

Just an FYI - I had dinner with a UGA friend (don't judge me) last night. He is friends with one of the Dawg Nation guys. He said their understanding was that as of about 4pm yesterday that MB didn't know where he would be going, but that the DN guys thought it would be us.
