As prior enlisted myself, I have really impressed upon him my desire that if he chooses the military, I would prefer it be in the Officer Corps. He agrees and is very interested in the Marine Corps; his grandfather is a retired Marine / USCG Officer that did several tours in Vietnam in the late 60's and early 70's. Now, while he has a realistic chance at academic scholarships, I would also like more info on the NROTC program. I would appreciate any advice and personal experiences you would care to share.
